Oo dpat maglagay ng aquacare kasi my chlorine and chloramine ang tubig sa gripo. About sa paglalagay ng asin, never ko pa ginawa yun sa aquarium ko. Ang alam ko ang rock salt ay pwede gamiting gamot sa sakit ng isda. Hope this helps, cheers! 🙂

Good day. Depende sa amount ng water change or kung newly set-up tank. Like you've mentioned, 20 gallon tank if newly set-up, i'll put 4 cup full using the bottle cap of Aqua Care for measurement. Then every water change 1 gallon is 6 to 8 drops on the instruction on the bottle. I use half a cup using the bottle cap again for measurement on a 1.5 gallons or 6 liters of tap water (tubig gripo) placed on a 6 liter pet bottle. Regarding if it is okay pag may isda, it is safe even with fish on the tank. You can directly use/add Aqua Care on the tank with the fish and fill it with the amount of water volume you've changed. Any brand of Anti-chlorine are just the same with Aqua Care. Both are chlorine and chloramine neutralizers. My water change routine is twice a week. 20% during monday and 20% on thursday to prevent drastic change in water temperature (In total is 40% water change in a week). Depending on the size of the aquarium(10g, 20g, 40g, 50 g or 100g etc.), conditioning the water depends on the water volume of the aquarium to be change. Aqua Care has an instruction on the bottle to put 6 to 8 drops per 1 gallon or 4.5 liters of water. So if your going to change for example is around 3 gallons or 13.5 liters of water in the aquarium, you'll have to add 18 to 24 drops of Aqua Care on the water you'll use to refill the aquarium. Ask Lang po sir medj nalilito kasi ako sa instructions since mostly na anti-chlorine na gamit ko is 1 tablespoon for 10 gallons, nung tank ko kasi is 80 gallons and nung ginagamit ko po na imbakan na tubig is nung Malaking bote ng platinum aqua, isa non is 5 gallons kaya 6 pieces gamit ko non kapag mag water change ako para 30 % water change.Mga Ilan drops/tablespoon ng aquacare ang ilalagay ko sa 5 gallons ng tubig?

Good day. 5 gallons is equivalent to 18.92 liters. Dun po sa example ko is 6 liter pet bottle ang gamit ko to condition tap water and I put half a cup ng bottle cap ng aqua care. I suggest if 5 gallons, it's about 1-1/2 cup ng bottle cap ng aqua care. How I came up with that calculation, I just multiplied 6 liters to 3, equivalent of 18 liters. Also sit it for about an hour or 2 to neutralize the chlorine or let it sit for 24 hrs then use it the next day. Hope this helps and make sense.

Yes galing gripo lang po gmit ko at gumagamit lang ako ng aqua care to neutralize the chlorine and chloramine that are present in out tap water. Twice ako mag water change in a week, 20% during monday and 20% during thursday which in total 40% in a week. Consider putting guppy grass for live plant na madali nman buhayin at padamihin khit walang ferts. Guppy grass will help clean the water on excess food and fish loves swimming and hiding around this low-tech plant. Hope this helps.

There are artificial plants you can buy with soft textures and just avoid the hard plastic one's coz it can sometimes damage the fins of the fish likewise on using rocks and driftwood for hardscape with sharp edges. Regarding corals, if your fish are fresh water fish, I suggest removing the corals. It might harm them rather than giving them a better living environment because corals are from salt water. Lava rocks are the best on a budget scape, cheaply priced and will promote beneficial bacteria that fresh aquarium needs. Hope this helps.

@@juvyojoy663 yes you can do that, but monitor your aquarium and observe the fish how they're doing with corals in placed. My rationale only is; corals is for salt water environment and placing it on a fresh water aquarium is not advisable. Corals even not the live one's may have bacteria and parasites that may affect your fresh water aquarium. I rather not take the risk putting corals on a fresh water aquarium. Hope this helps.

Yes, you can use tap water without heating on sunlight given that you use a water conditioner to neutralize the chlorine and chloramine. Haven't tried your water change routine, but I think it's beneficial sitting the water under the sun to even neutralize the chlorine and chloramine, and at the same time warm the water. What I usually do is; sit the water for 2 hrs before using or 24hrs with water conditioner but not under the sunlight. Hope this helps.

@@jefftan_062 They are both okay to use in conditioning the water. Aqua Care is an anti-chlorine and anti-chloramine like any other product in the market with the same purpose. Removing/neutralizing chlorine and chloramine is mainly the purpose of using these kind of products. Hope this helps.

Yes tama po yun. 6 to 8 drops per 1 gallon. For example po. 2 gallons of water yung papalitan nyo sa water change ng 15 gallon tank. Need po nung 2 gallons na ipapalit or refill nyo is 12 to 16 drops of aqua care. In my example po sa video, half a cup of the bottle cup ng aqua care ang nilalagay ko sa (6 liter bottle equivalent of 1.5 US gallons) which is 8 to 16 drops pa nga po and it's okay. That amount po is not to much pa din considering ma-dilute pa din nman yung aquacare sa rest of the water already in the tank. Hope this helps.

First some clarifications... Mineral water (e.g. Summit, Nature's Spring) is different from distilled (e.g. Wilkins, Absolute)/purified water na nabibili sa refilling stations. I say you do some more research about it... But to answer the question, you can use mineral water without using aqua care or any dechlorinator kasi most mineral water brands doesn't contain chlorine. Now when you use distilled/purified water, you need to "re-mineralize" it kasi sobrang wala nang dissolved nutrients niyan at masama din yun sa fishes and/or plants.

Aside form the filter. Beneficial bacteria can live on the surface areas of the aquarium like hardscapes and substrate. If you siphon the gravel, I don't see anything wrong there to harm the beneficial bacteria unless you remove it out of the aquarium and wash it with top water with chlorine and chloramine. Water change also helps the bacteria to thrive because your putting oxygenated clean water. Hope this helps.

Pwede direct tol. If you're talking about newly set up, condition the water using aqua care then cycle the tank to grow beneficial bacteria. You can use Seachem Stabilty to start the nitrogen cycle. For water change you can also directly use aqua care. Remove the volume of water you want to change like for example 20 percent of the water in the tank. Put aqua care first into the tank then fill the 20 percent of water to refill the tank. Hope this helps.

I usually stock it for around 3 days. I have so many betta fish outside were the water evaporates quickly because of sunlight and I used my stock conditioned water to refill the cut 6 litter bottle containers with bettas inside. I suggest if you only have 1 to 2 tanks, It is much better to stock water only for 24hrs for the water change the following day.. Hope this helps.

In terms of having the water clean while using the water conditioner Aqua Care. It will help, but this product is not a medication for fin rot to kill bacteria, parasite, fungus and virus. You can use API Melafix, Methylene Blue or Amzon Meds Malachite Green common cause of infection. Hope this helps.

There is a big possibility that it can be harmful if you put too much like putting half or finishing the whole bottle of conditioner. Moreover, I haven't experience it or done that yet. Keep in mind there is a direction of use that we should follow and if your application is close enough on what they prescribe of use, your tank will be fine. Certainly putting too much can be bad.
