Aqua M3 Compact - Set Up

First time set up an Aqua M3 compact. My way live on the bank with only a small cut, as I forgot the Small bar. mega bit of kit i must say, sorry Vison Fan, it was time for an upgrade. Well a secondhand one. #fishing #bigcarp #angling #carpangler #carpangling

Im in 2 minds at the moment don't know what to buy this bivvy looks so good It's this or the fox supa brolly system 60 " what would you recommend as I I'm only starting out I'd like to start off with some comfort ps. Gr8 vid lovely view makes me want to go and get my rods. Any information I would appreciate.

brian payne hi Brian it's a lot of money and you need to put a lot of thought in to it, however they are by far the best bivvy company on the market, you will here story's that the fox systems leaks and some do unfortunately, if you don't have the money for this one. Have a look at the TF gear Hardcore Brolly System, which I also have and have had for some years with absolutely no issues with. I only got the M3 myself cheap from a friend, but it will last for years hope this helps Richard

What was your reason for choosing this bivvy, and what other types did you consider?

Fred J Pearce - Fred I have always considered Aqua to be the best of the best. However unable to justify the cost. As this was a second hand one from a friend that was selling it as he like large bivvys and he had only used it once. I just had to buy it off him. I do have a Tf Gear Hardcore Brolly with I have had for the past two years and is brilliant.

Just done a quick "Google" and they do seem to be the best in the "Hydrostatic pressure test". They do, like you said come at a premium price. Thanks for the info

Nash titan tc pro blows it out the water. 2 min set up

The only issue with Nash is that it will no doubt be leaking after 2 year's and the Aqua will out live the nash by year's. Used to love my old titan.

I think the weight is good, but still too bulky to carry

I tend to agree, as i only use it for two night session+ . I know have the overwrap which is pukka and give you more space for those long winter nights.
