I'm curious why you guys have never looked at the vapor rino? Extracting with steam seems so much more efficient and uses way way less water. I'd be worried about water wicking with one of these extractors. Have you guys seen the unit I mentioned above? A 3 in 1 unit that would replace a bulky super soaker extractor.

A steam extractor would in fact be the best unit one could get. Especially one that allows you to choose what vacuum you run in conjunction with it. The sapphire head peice used with the prospector 500 is in fact trying to replicate what a steamer is doing only it won't be able to super heat the water the same way the steam provides super heated atomized water. Why would one pay 2k for an extractor and then another 700 for a suction head that is trying its hardest to mimic a steamer with extractor head? All interior stuff aside. Id also like the power of something with steam and water injection for engine bays and waterless exterior washes. These extractors are going the way of the dodo bird.

Business Tip for new detailers: Don't charge minimum. Charge more $ per vehicle so you can profit more, have nice life, and keep upgrading your equipment (everything you buy for business should be on business expense thus its tax write off/ only if you are doing business legally lol)

i got the bissell spot pro or something like that. ive used it lots of times and it is a great machine for 150 bucks. The tanks are small and there is no heater but you can just put hot water in it

for now im using a wet/dry shop vac with a long hose with extractor attachment and I use a steamer as a heating element. I spray water with some cleaner to the seats.
