This is part one of my second day's hike into the desert mountains near Las Vegas Nevada in my continuing search for the missing KZbinr Kenny Veech. As I climb into the hills in a new location I begin to find evidence of man-made activity in the hills that is very strange. One thing, in particular, that was very odd is a stone "pillbox" like structure overlooking the approaches to the area. I also discover some large scat with large chunks of animal bone in it and that begins to change my thoughts on how I should conduct any future searches. I suspect there could be mountain lions roaming the hills for sure now. I also found a badger skull not too far away (in a different video) and they too would be capable of devouring and/or scattering human remains. I also found evidence of two separate mountain sheep deaths (part two of this hike) and one had a severely fractured leg bone which could also be a sign of how and why Kenny never came back out of the hills so many years ago. Part two of this day's search will follow soon.
Part 2 of this hike can be found here: • Searching For Kenny Ve...
Part 3: • Searching For Kenny Ve...
About Aquachigger:
I enjoy metal detecting for historical items like gold coins, relics, silver coins, and other buried treasures. I also metal detect for gold and silver nuggets and even meteorites. I like to make videos that promote my choice of lifestyle that includes outdoor adventure,
metal detecting, yapping, searching for river treasure, SCUBA diving, exploring abandoned places, hiking, caving, caring for animals and pets, and observing the things outdoors that often go unnoticed by most people who are not familiar with outdoor adventures and nature. I keep my KZbin "Aquachigger" channel family-friendly and hope you subscribe if you like my style.
BTW, you can also catch me here, / chiggsarmy ,but I may get a little edgier there. FB isn't a place for kids anyway...lol.

You're finally in my area. That's so awesome. Lots of people have disappeared out here in Nevada. Be careful around the Pumpernickel exit off of I-80. If that's Rye Patch, the interstate is 80. I believe I've heard 7 people have disappeared by that exit. At least 3 or 4 vehicles found abandoned at that exit and the others were found not far off the exit. I'm a truck driver and I go everywhere, but driving through that area makes me feel creeped out. Day or night. If you are still in the area, I'd be happy to share some other stories. Don't expect the police to come and help you. They left a woman out there who was stuck and she called like 4x asking for help. They found her body several months later.

Pumpernickel Valley, interesting area. There's gold around Rye Patch, if you know what you're looking for. Gold and Silver out Berlin - Ichthyosaur State Park, lots of people still prospecting and mining out there most with claims who aren't thrilled with those who try to get a little. Had a friend whose dad worked CCC restoring the stamp mill building of Berlin. She and I used to go out there all the time, find all sorts of weird stuff, ghost towns, hot springs, geysers, gems, mine shafts and equipment, petroglyphs. Might just make another trip.

It's a sad truth but in that area there's quite a few animals that don't pass on any food source. Mildly putting it. And "things" just don't stay in one spot. Even finding a bone or two would still leave an extremely large area to cover. If anything manmade items will be scattered where Kenny passed. But anyone who goes looking is keeping Kenny alive in memory and that's what we all want Thanks Beau. 👍✝️🇺🇸

Suicide makes no sense. Why would he make a video about the cave, talking about entering the cave. Than go missing a day later. I think he is either under witness protection or dead. 1 possible explanation to his disappearance could be the alcohol he had on him. In his video, where he visited the cave, he said he brought some beer with him, instead of water. Since that location is pretty rocky and full with pits, holes. He could have suffered an injury while maybe under the influence of alcohol or something. But I'm just speculating. It was also interesting how the military was watching Aquachiggers's every move with drone(s), i have no clue if they watch the whole area or just that cave area but kinda strange too.

The light duty weed whacker is a fairly modern tool for cutting down tall weeds by hand (muscle power). It has an approximately 1 foot long serrated edge blade (30.48cm) on the end of an axe handle. As someone who’s recovering from a case of Covid, this video is bringing me so much joy. Just seeing this landscape and imagining how it feels and smells is awesome. I grew up in the southwest. Arizona you to be specific so this makes me feel very at home (the weird alien stuff included). The south is such a hot spot for the weird cryptid and Alien stuff... do I know why? Nope. Do I want to know why? Yes! I would say it has something to do with the environment and weather being so predictable. That’s where I would go if I was an alien. Anyways, thanks for the awesome content. I love how simple the videos are. No annoying constant music that’s too loud just honest commentary and I got to learn about what pretty much everything was. I could be wrong but the pvc type pipe could've been penstock and the "sniper pit" could've been a collection reservoir for water. Tiles could be one attempt at trying to seal. My guess is someone was putting forth a valiant effort to build a hydro electric setup without having any solid plans to make sure it happened, they gave it a go and put forth enough effort to decide it wasn't possible or viable for whatever reason. Or more realistically a slightly less interesting version would be a simple water distribution network to start someone's "garden". But if the water was there to collect, it is feasible to generate the typical 1.5kw/hr continuous with the topo variation there, all from one small 12000 rpm turbine fed from that tiny penstock say 30 meters long where it's vertical in places! Water gets heavy and gravity stacks up fast! You'd have to be awfully happy about the potential prospects or desperate to attempt it at that location..

We used to enjoy the free military "airshows" very often while prospecting near the Chuckwalla and Chocolate Mountains in CA; at Castle Butte north of Edwards AFB in CA; and near the Barry Goldwater Range near Yuma, AZ. My remote desert property overlooks one of the main test sites for UAVs. We always assume when they fly overhead, that someone is very likely monitoring our mundane conversations for training practice - just because they can!

Let me propose a theory of mine. I served in the Army and worked with active camouflage, what if Kenny's cave is exactly where he recalled it being but the enterence was covered by active camouflage. He would walk right past it and on video you wouldn't notice anything you can state right at it and not realize it. I'm guessing his cave has either been filled in or was covered by active camouflage.

You'd think so, but you wouldn't believe how often very obvious things tend to be overlooked during investigations. It happens a lot. That drone at 07:07 would creep me out the whole frigging time. The US governament CERTANLY has maaaany things to hide, but I don't think they're tryina hide Kenny's body, to be mega optimistic Kenny himself, or how he died: there are many scenerios on how he went missing; 1. He somehow died in the M cave(suffucation, some rocks fell on him,got lost in the cave and starved, some animals killed him etc); 2. Some aliens abducted him(less likely lol); 3. The Feds abducted him and either calcelled his memory and sent him off or he's still with them. The most possible one is obviusly the first one, but hey you never know. Either way, I don't think the governament is hiding Kenny, but what is in the whole area Kenny was hiking in, it is basically next door to freaking Area 51, Nellis base, and other military bases. So that area must be kept under strict control to avoid sum crazy idiot tryina break in, or if you believe in it, to avoid aliens escaping, and the most realistic one is, they wanna make sure no Russian James Bond gets nearby. In conclusion, unless Kenny's dissapearence has to do with them, the governament doesn't give a blaten crap and they're just keeping an eye on a military restricted area. Edit: turns out the dude was suffering from depression for a couple of years, so now we got a 4th case scenario where he used the opportunity to commit suicide, but we'll never be able to know until him or his body is found. However the suicide theory sorta falls apart if we think about that one KZbin comment that warned him to not go into the cave, cuz he was not coming back. We also have the gut feeling of extreme anxiety and uneasyness he declered on video. This case deserves way more popularity and actual detectives looking for him... but if it does have to do with the governament, then all we can do is watch people like Chigg look for him or even go ourselves(i'm literally at the other side of the world but you get what i mean)and even then, who tries to search for him needs to be careful.

As for the trap, maybe it was an illegal one that was found and removed by whoever was there last? Just guessing here.

Just stumbled upon a fascinating 411 case where someone fell into an abandoned mine shaft that had overgrown grass growing all over it, they didn’t discover the missing person was inside it until a hiker almost perished the same fate. Ironically and I say this with respect, there was an abandoned mine shaft that Kenny was frequent with. No I don’t think he could be in that one in particular, but I do think in my honest opinion that he’s inside one that’s been hidden since it’s abandonment probably since the early 1900s.

Honestly, killing people to keep a secret like that makes no sense. When you kill someone it draws attention. If you alter/hide what they discovered and call them crazy, problem solved. Virtually no one believes the crazy guy and any attention he draws has a negative connotation casting doubt on anything else said about the subject. In some cases, alterations/hiding things wasnt even necessary. Some ufos have been identified decades later as top secret aircraft test. The government didn't kill those people, they let them talk openly, to all the people they wanted. So, I don't think your theory is plausible.
