The River Was Crystal Clear And I Found Dump Treasure!

I'm back at the river dump, and the river is crystal clear. I had a successful day searching for coins, relics, and bottles. I found no submerged 70-year-old oil/hydraulic filters, so that was nice.
As always this is a how to metal detecting outdoor adventure vlog that is family friendly and hopefully a fun video.

Hey Chigg, that insulator is the bottom half of a two piece transposition type. Even cracked it's worth a few bucks because there's someone with the top half looking for it. I'd keep it.

I would love to do this. Just watching this video gets me excited. Love finding old stuff. It’s so difficult in Virginia to have a hobby of metal detecting/magnet fishing because everything is protected and you can’t do relic hunting anywhere.

At 12:03 that first thing you picked up looks like a part from the steering from an old car. Years ago I had a "66 Mustang that had a part that looked like that on, if I remember right was part of the tie rod.

I've found plenty of British Civil War artillery shells, but this one was from WW2. Some GI probably brought it back home to the states with him.
