My dad passed away this Tuesday, after being diagnosed with cancer just month ago at 65 yrs old. He loved watching your videos. Never missed one till he was hospitalized. He showed me your videos last year and I had to subscribe, I enjoy them so much. I will be thinking of my dad watching the videos together.

If you ever go metal detecting with this man. He looks like he casually wanders around in his videos. Daayyuummm! You better bring a lunch, a gallon of water, and Advil. This man will wear your butt out trying to keep up with him. I ain’t never been so tired after going metal detecting with him. I think he’s a T-800.

I have a very "cheep" detector that is not really very accurate but your expertise has helped me use it a little more efficiently, thank you so much, Sir Chigg!!!! Love your adventures so much!!! Looking forward to all the ones I haven't watched and all the new ones you will bring!!! Love the extra long footage!!! 🤗🤗

@@AppalachianHistoryDetectives no I'm so nervous about emailing him for some reason.. He must get so many emails, I'm going to one of these days! @@archersdetectingknoxville2654 I’m with the Chigg so often I can’t imagine being nervous. I will say he does get lots of requests. He is picky and he doesn’t respond to many of them. When I sent him an email I never heard back from him in months. Now we are together all the time. He just left my house this evening. We have camped out last night and detected three places. I see him again in 3 days. I’m probably his closest friend. Knoxville is 450 miles from here and a full days drive. Do you shoot videos?

A couple years ago (probably more like 5 years ago) I dug that lightning rod thing along with another one that was just a straight spire type. Up until a minute ago I didn't have a clue what they were. The thumbnail of this vid has it being held up against the sky and I recognized the shape right away and couldn't believe it. Other than certain coins what haven't you found? I'll watch the whole video tomorrow, I just watched the lightning rod part tonight. I still can't believe it! Thank you for sharing this hunt!
