Fast-paced metal detecting video of detecting relics on a new permission. I soon started finding Confederate bullets and other cool relics. Learn some tips and tricks of metal detecting and some tidbits of history and the artifacts left behind.
About Aquachigger:
I like to make videos that promote my lifestyle of outdoor adventure, metal detecting, yapping, searching for river treasure, SCUBA diving, exploring abandoned places, hiking, caving, caring for animals and pets, and observing the things outdoors that often go unnoticed. I keep my KZbin "Aquachigger" channel family-friendly and hope you subscribe if you like my style.

Chigg would be really cool to find someone that collects and actually fires muskets and rifles. Do a demonstration with him showing how the weapons were loaded and fired. That would be a very interesting video I think.

I love Chigg's videos. He's the Champagne of KZbin. My favorite. Tannic acid is the active ingredient in the best anti-rust formulations on the maket. Put it on a rusty part and it darkens to a purple black. It's so good at stopping oxidation that they apply it to rusty guard rails in northern states. I bought a can of 3M spray to hit the rust spots on my car to slow it down. 33 bucks a can. I've never seen anything work like it.

A great day for Aquachigger finding civil war relics. This goes to show that good stuff is still out there. You just have to do the research, get permissions and go looking. No one does this better Chigg.

Fresh lead is very soft and easily mailable with a hardness of 1.5 moh's. You can easily scratch lead with a fingernail. That white coating on old lead is Lead dioxide and it has a hardness of between 5 and 6 mohs. Hard enough to break your teeth or your fingernails that have a hardness of 2.5 mohs. Those bullets were much softer when they were new. A person can easily make teeth impressions in pure lead but not lead dioxide.
