Man does that look nice but they are so expensive! Only thing I don't like and why I don't use them is they take up alot of room, 125 down to what? 80 gallons of usable water volumn?

Yes, they are, but totally worth it! 💰 🤑 💸

if you get this model today, does it still need to be siliconed or are they now useing magnets to hold the background ?.

These models are silicone. It's not hard. The slim backgrounds have the magnets. I have them, and they're nice.

@@PriceTagAquariums So if you want to have the really large 3D rock background , those must be glued into the tank. And only the slim models are light enough to be secured by the magnets.. Is this correct ?

Can this be done with my established tank I don’t want to loose my BB in my sand by letting it dry out, maybe put the sand in a bucket with tank water. Or move some to the temporary tank with the fish while drying out the tank main tank for silicone. I’ll move my 407 to the temporary tank to keep that media alive and fish happy

This depends on the model. If you ordered a slim background (E or G models), you don’t need to empty the aquarium in order to install the background. If you ordered a standard background (A, B, C or K models) that needs to be siliconed, you will have to empty the aquarium. My suggestion is move the sand to an empty aquarium with the original water with it. Also, I used marine grade/Aquarium silicone. I'd still keep some BB in sponges to be on the safe side or maybe fritzyme 7 when you re-ad everything back to the original tank.
