A Few Thoughts: First and foremost, thank you Nick... A year ago my the extent of my "Naval Knowledge" was limited to belly buttons. I had to stop and concentrate on which side port and starboard were on, and 'tender' was the way you treated your lady. Now I think I'm a cross between Espen Oeino and Andrew Winch...! "Hi... I'm Dave, and I'm an Aquaholicholic." The Hi-Lo platform is awesome. Seeing it in action is appreciated. Saying "This goes down like this..." holds nothing to seeing how it works first-hand, so to speak. (Pay particular attention to how wet the teak is in the beginning - then wait for the end!) The Aft Cockpit design is cunning. Brilliant seating solution for a 52-footer. A true 'entertaining boat'. And then you slide open the door (let's pretend it was closed), and it looks like the cabinetry installer was out to lunch and about to install the last overhead storage area...! What in the trailer trash hell is that? Setting a bottle of bubbly and two flutes on top doesn't distract from the 1/2" thick (THIIN) diminutive top, much less the awkward sharp corners, and general complete lack of style, ANY STYLE, whatsoever...! If you look closely @ 1:43ish, you see the Ikea barcode label in the bottom-right corner. Whoever approved that needs to be replaced...! By me. ;-) The damnable shame that is that excuse of an 'Island' is the "eyesore before the main floor". The Main Saloon just wreaks of style! So spacious and gorgeous glazing! Although the helm is obviously technically flawless and very maneuverable boat, the helms seating is admittedly wide, but it does not not look comfortable to sit at for any extended period of time. Love the design of the VIP and twin cabins... Not one single surface with a fingerprint gathering glossy finish...! Brilliant. I'll let Prestige slide on no TV in the twin. The shower enclosure is sheer genius. Finally... A solution to eliminate the 'wet room' for every other builder to emulate. What good is a counter in the heads where everything on it has to be stowed just to take a shower...?!? It's the bane of my existence. Cocktail time... I judge a Master Cabin by the quality/size of the A/V system, and for a 52-footer... Wow! An incredible cabin, for a boat on ANY size. I can't imagine NOT having the Flybridge version... But - instead of the immense Bimini top, why not a sleek carbon fiber arch to accommodate radar/nav sats/etc.? Seems they missed out on a design opportunity there. More brilliant seating with the reversible backrest...! One would safely assume that if you had the means for this type of toy - you'd probably be fortuitous enough to have a delicious bit of eye candy to perch upon the sun lounger adjacent to the helm. Top marks! That's one badass foredeck...! Simple yet useful. Flat sun pads and lounging areas always leave me scratching my yacht designing brain... The engine area... They're 'getatable' alright. IF you're a midget...! C'mon Nick... Now granted, it's not like very many yacht owners are gonna whip out their toolkits and start spinning wrenches, but... There's a reason why top-notch marine mechanics make incredible money...! And I bet you'd pay extra to work on that beauty. You pull her into to the marina and thank Phillipe for 'taking care of everything'... Jump in the Porsche and go have dinner. Simple. @11:34... How costly would it be to have something a little less haphazard than the 'almost finished' appearance of the tender storage area above the engines? If you happen to be in Brighton... Stop by and check out the rides at Tempest4cars. They've got a selection that covers a huge spectrum and price range. Check 'em out at www.tempest4cars.co.uk Nick... Thanks for giving over a quarter million of us a new outlet for entertainment...! You rock sir. Cheers mate...!

Another little gem of a boat. I find myself running out of superblatives (if that is even a word) for a lot of these boats. Just love the craftsmanship that goes into them & the thought that goes into the use of space the designers must of played a lot of GameBoy Tetris back in the day. Really nice layout & pretty much perfect as a family boat. Especially like the full beam owner cabin towards the rear....

@jaquigreenlees3 жыл бұрын
Nick, bow thruster with ips drives adds the station-keeping capability to function better. I think I would get the crew quarters but left as storage instead of the tender garage. That should give more headroom in the engine compartment as well as give you storage for bulkier items. With cradles on the high-low platform to store the tender you don't sacrifice anything but an empty swim platform.
