Azimut - rename this the "Magician's Hat" - something small filled with huge surprises. A FULL LOBBY on the cabin deck WITH washer/dryer. FOUR cabins. 53 FEET. And "crew cabin" (a place to stuff a teenager). There are 70' yachts with fewer accommodations (perspective people, please). I've watched the video twice, with note pad and pencil the second time. I got to TEN major features and stopped, as I had only reached the Cabin Deck. WOW. And UNDER 900k? Azimut, I don't know how you did it - but I want one. Thank you for sharing...

In the market for a boat in this size range and honestly didn't even consider the Magellano series but they have done a very impressive job at a nice price. Engine room looks snug but I guess OK and the crew cabin would be better used for storage/dive tanks/dive compressor or more equipment like watermaker equipment. Very impressed with this boat for Bahamas/Caribbean, especially since the 20 knot speed can get you out of trouble when necessary.

It’s Azimut at the basement of the brand. Keep in mind the advertised price, isn’t final price. You’ve got taxes and registration. You’ve got duty. You’ve got delivery fees and shipping. You’ve got insurance and storage/moorage. If you cannot operate, you’ve got to hire a captain. That’s $55,000/year for the size of vessel.

Yea seems like a human trafficking or smuggling trap door. With a boat this size I don't think you need a captain/crew unless it's for educational purposes just to show you how to operate it yourself. That's probably what I would need a crew for in the beginning. But I would let them sleep in one of the guess cabin tho. But for under 1 million you do get a lot for the money. This would be perfect for a single family trip to the Bahamas 🇧🇸 once you learn how to operate it. Wish there were more space for tenders unless you can get close enough to shore that's shallow enough. I love the range of this boat the most and it's pretty spacious and comfortable for a single family. I would do coastal cruises up and down Florida and hit the Bahamas pretty often. That fact that you can do multiple trips to the Bahamas without refilling the fuel tanks is awesome for the money.

Maurizio found 7.3 knots to be most efficient, with 5.6 lph per engine iirc, a total consumption of 1.6 liters per nm. Thats a range of 2000nm. Or in practical terms: 1 month vacation averaging 3 hours per day will consume 1000 liters, thats less than a third of its fuel capacity. Less than 60 Euro per day in fuel, thats awesome.

It's a 53 foot boat! What an amazingly complex and compact design on the upper deck and fly. However below in confused and unfortunately full of nonsense - Either lose the fourth cabin, then space out the other three and add a third heads. Then use the crew for long distance storage and overflow. Or lose the crew and extend the owners cabin, plus a heads for the 3rd. But seriously no one requires crew on a 53 foot boat - Great presentation as usual -

I really like these "fast trawlers". They got most (if not all) of the comfort and sea keeping of a traditional trawler, but can go a bit faster when needed. I particularly like the layout of this one. When I saw that huge aft cockpit I assumed it was going to be cramped inside, but by putting the galley aft they have managed to get a nice and comfortable looking interior as well. The only negative I can think of is that the mullion next to the lower helm position seems to steal a bit too much of the view to starboard for my liking, and I´d really like a secound nav-screen on a boat of this size and type, but apart from that I think this thing looks pretty much perfect for me (ignoring anything related to money of course! :) )

So long as they're liveaboard-capable, they're pretty much feasible. Most people who own any kind of home on land can get enough startup money to put into one of those boats from selling it, and then finance the rest. It seems like some Azimut boats & yachts fail to utilize its space efficiently and some materials that they use in toilets aren't that nice for the money that they are asking.

Never buy a new yacht from a boat show .. you'll pay through the nose , however good it may seem .

Like that boat. the only thing is, my crew would have the cabins and i would take the little crew cabin in the back

Hmm, better to lose some cuboard space and have a larder Miele to super freeze the ice cubes for my buckfast.

Quite a lot packed into 53 feet! @ 3:42 that is a Hoover washer/dryer combo unit. Not quite as good as having two separate units, but makes sense on smaller boats. Range at 7 knots is almost 2,000 nautical miles.

i see two problems in this boat, crew cabin and the lack of a storage to keep a williams or some jet skiis

It's 53ft. You're not getting multiple jetskis on any 53ft boat. It has a place for a tender or jetaki on the high/low deck. Also, There are a lot of 50ft boats with a crew cabin now.

Nick, as always perfect video. 1 question. Can I, as a member of the public view these boats a the shows, or is it reserved for buyers or vlogers.

Yes you most certainly can. Well worth a visit.

Seems like a strangely low price given its size.. I was surprised by the crew quarters, a nice touch. My favorite boat so far. Any comments on build quality?

That was absolutely a great video and a great boat. Can you get that or a similar model but without the fly bridge?

Amazing the price difference between this and say a boat that is 30ft longer, which would probably cost you 3 million plus.
