Dare I say that this is very well priced for a 45GT? Love the flow between the saloon and sunbed with the option to close it off and add an AC for the tropics. Not bad at all...only gripe would be the height of the master cabin but I'm being silly, it's a 45 footer!! Fantastic tour Nick! 👌

Very nice boat, Nick, and a great tour, as ever. Only downside is the blue finish to the helm. A continuation to the graphite grey would be much more in keeping with the boat. A tender garage on this size of boat is ideal, saves on fitting those new davits.

So much accommodation for the size. I think this boat represents a great value. Lots of refrigeration and a nice size galley with a dinette that converts to a sleeper. I like this boat a lot. I went back and watched your video of the GT46 and I think the layout on that was better. The reclining seats were a great idea and with them facing into the boat it made a huge social area, all the way to the back of the helm seats. The tender garage and sunbed combo take up so much social space. Still enjoyed watching this tour though, as always. Thank you.

This might sound silly, but I LOVE the placement of the cooktop. Putting it in the corner where it is will be just fine for cooking, and it leaves a TON of counterspace for prep. Most of the time the cooktop is placed so that it's a little easier to access, but ends up being at the sacrifice of prep space.

It would be great if the reviews cover a detailed analysis of cost covering the base cost plus the cost and benefit of each option including the running cost off course depending on the location. It is also worthwhile to cover the ride quality of the boat in your reviews as it completes the picture….. All I all you make a great reviews but it would be much more informative if the above two points are considered in your reviews which actually combines information on the boat with a review of cost and maintenance and quality of ride…. 🙏🙏🙏

Nice layout... As an 'aspirational' boat owner, can someone explain the need for a bow thruster if the boat already has IPS and joystick control? Seems to be redundant.
@PhilbyFavourites2 жыл бұрын
A stiff breeze can easily over power the turning/twisting capacity supplied by the IPS drives. Hence the pretty much standard fitment of a bow thruster. I’m in the position of having a single engine, but also bow and stern thrusters. With that set up it gives me confidence when docking. However a certain few say “that’s cheating”. I then have the childish pleasure of saying “you put it on the berth without them then”. So far no one has managed it…. And I’ve had to do a few “recoveries” in short order. So bow and stern thrusters are great aids to manoeuvring - they aren’t “cheating”

Jack the Sack looks pretty 'forlorn' waiting for someone to open the champagne! This boat is a bit unfinished: you point out space for a microwave and for a generator and a possible location for a barbecue or other amenities. This is a fine sports cruiser for those of us who are not top-level sports. It has the style! It would also make a good tender, with off-yacht sleeping space for crew members.
