Making me remember how Teddy Riley produced RaNia’s debut song Dr Feel Good…the fact he originally produced it for Lady Gaga so there’s also an English version blows my mind cuz imagine lady gaga singing that..the song was also “banned”( meaning the choreo had to be altered for performing on tv) cuz it was too provocative…but yeah RaNia’s masquerade also produced by Ted Riley was my sh*t back then…ahh the good old times..also you’ll be surprised how many famous producers and singers have worked with Korean artists whether it’s solo or in the “kpop” world..Teddy has produced for girls generation, f(x), shinee, other songs of exo, Jay park( the song was originally made for Michael Jackson which I believe was altered to fit jay’s earlier style cuz tbh I can’t imagine mj singing that lol) and rania like I’ve stated before…like even Akon was on his kpop wave and has a song with the wonder girls called like money back in 2012 in which the producers made it very Akon but we didn’t lose the wonder girls..it worked very well and to me it’s literally one of THE best callabs

Yep, when America stopped taking traditionally structured pop music, a flood of writers/producers took their talents over to South Korea. My music library is literally evidence of this shift. :P But what’s even better is that the K-pop industry doesn’t fuck with the music like American companies often would. Y’all may be familiar with higher-ups who tried to get Timbaland and Missy to take the crickets out of “One in A Million.” Saying it would make people bored/sleepy. lol They really do think people are that easily influenced, huh? 🙄
