Darren I’ve had boats all of my life .If they are kept in the water all the year round like yours .you should run the engine at least once a week for about an hour .reason being dampness and moisture can creep up the exhaust and make its way in to the cylinders via the exhaust valves causing corrosion to not only the valve and seats but also the cylinder walls and sometimes the piston rings where’s ma hat .hope this helps. Hi, yet another interesting vlog, but the audio was awful, Mrs B was twice as loud AND every time (6) the Whoosh, like, subscribe, (excessive and loud) totally overrode Mr B. However you are on the case so to speak. Stay safe & enjoy.

Fantastic video, I really liked how much detail you give, especially being able to check out your island to see what will fit in, I never imagined the bed would be king (or super king?) thats brilliant. When you get your settee will it have to have special safety regs for being on a boat? How do you know if it will fit through the doors? Sorry im thinking aloud now haha. 💚💜

Hi Both, another great video. With regards to your microphones: Rode Wireless Go 2 would be ideal as there are 2 microphones plus receiver, (I use the original Rode wireless go myself). Hi Mr B & Mrs B A lot of interesting questions this week. Mr B regards the mic; I am surprised you being an apple man, are not using the airpods pros; they are absolutely brilliant, especially as now you can set the earpods to be able to hear external conversations as well. I have had mine now for two years and use them full time on my iPhone for calls and recording and on my iPad. Mrs B, great to hear you enjoy your life of being a lady of leisure; how are your knees these days in the cold weather? You know I had problems with my knees also what I do now is follow Bob & Brad youtube physiotherapist they are brilliant made all the difference for me.

@@LoveLifeTriumph Mrs B tell Mr B the earpods pro are absolutely brilliant for work as well from what I see Mr B does work from the boat, for example, you might be listening to music, and Mr B gets a business call instead of him saying turn the music of all he has to do is click noise cancellation and all he will hear is his call and be completely focused on his call, you can do so many things with earpods. If you watch the news you will see lots of reporters use earpods pro’s for video call etc.

Age neither you or Mr B look your age, you look a young happy couple and it is very nice to see!

Another fantastic podcast. If wishes could come true, it would be for us to have dinner together. Regarding routers. Many do not know that it is a computer and should be restarted once a week. That helps it make any changes or updates. It needs to shut down for at least 30 seconds and then restarted.

There are some things I really love about the wide beam. The spacious back deck and the bigger bathroom, oh boy wonderful, but what I love about the narrowboat is the cosines. I agree your wide beam is just absolutely beautiful and I do love it, I love it a lot. I know it’s also horses for courses and I love the narrowboat but doesn’t mean everyone does, I’d have loved to have had your old one with the huge bed it was a beautiful boat. Do wide beams fit into all locks on the canals? I heard they don’t, but eh that doesn’t effect you guys as you’re floaters.
