Once again baby Azalia stole the show at the end. What a cutie! Glad I watched all the way to the end. Oh, and I loved the donkey story too. And the dulcimer lesson "pick and flick".

Thank you for the tour of Oatman, AZ and the interview with Caroline. What a talented and personable lady. So much like everyone in your family. Loved the Booger Pick and Flick strum. Can hardly wait to see Garen and Ellie and Azalea with their hydroponics set up. Take care and have a great week ahead.

I lived in an A-frame in Oatman for a year. It was very cool. Except when the tarantulas migrated down from the mountains. The donkeys ate everything we tried to grow. But it was worth it to have them chill in our front yard all night. Again except when the boss was randy. What a racket lol. Video brought back a lot of memories. Some crazy in a good way folks up there.

In high school, I studied in Japan for a year and had the chance to learn the o-koto, the japanese harp. It's also a long, thin string instrument that you lay in front of you and play with fingers on the left, holding the strings, and flicking on the right. You actually put little nail-like picks on your fingertips and play with those, but the motion is extremely similar, and I'm reminded of it every single time I a dulcimer on your show. I kinda want to get one, now.

What a great and interesting episode, but I mean honestly - they all are!! Baby Azela is just absolutely precious, and I adore seeing Bre cook , well do anything actually, and really love the brother -sisterly love, very heart warming. Really missing seeing Shae but I guess some butterflies just have to spread their wings and fly, so I wish her well on her new journey as a young adult, living on her own and I'm sure having new adventures, maybe just not on camera at this time :) I remember my first place on my own, those are exciting times to be sure.
