I just love this. It is so well made and haunting in all the right ways. Sorrowful remembrance moving into resolute determination to move forward and ending in a peaceful finale.... This is all the good things in "epic" music.

I'm not usually a big fan of vocals in music. I know, call me a stickler, I can handle it. But besides that, this is still quite a gorgeous piece. Thank you for putting all the work into it. I certainly enjoyed giving it a listen. :) Duped Note: 2 of 3: strange... Even though my bookmark is for the subscription page, and I only have about a dozen channels picked. I somehow missed this one from OCR. Jumped straight to the Super Mario World 2 mix, somehow... Oops.

To me this is the best ocremix released in 2022. It's a decent game as well, though it's clearly affected by my nostalgia.

Mesmerizing! I don't know about the tempo change in the middle, kinda threw me off though :( Great soundscape anyways! Some other advice is, the percussion doesn't have to be flashy - the buildup in the middle with the tempo change led with the Damage drums but IMO maybe it started too upfront, so the dynamics didn't appear to evolve a ton. Keep up the good work nonetheless!

Thanks timaeus! Personally I like an accel. That comes off more like a conductor dragging the players to the new tempo. I feel it adds to the resolution and comes off as less sterile though everyone may not be on board. Ill just say it's an acquired taste.

@@ryandavismusic1794 No worries. That's just my stance on it---tempo changes are often not easy to pull off cleanly, so it is not your fault if it seems odd to me personally.

Good stuff. Excellent quality! If u ever revisit the mix/composition, adding some marimba in the A section and the recapitulation would b tight. Ive always found it to be a nice piece of instrumentation when bring water to life aurally. Maybe playing w or replacing parts of the piano.
