Thanks for this one, Cam. I think this is the most thorough walk-thru you've done for us. Sorry you've had some bad time. I do know how hard losses are. I recently made up my first batch of Rapashy Community Plus. I actually gagged from the smell. But once it set up it wasn't bad. Anyway, see you for the next one.

Thanks bro! It was mentioned to me the other day I dont make that kind of content so I will do that sort of thing more often. Glad to hear you got on the Repashy! How did the fish find it?

@@theaquariumprojectnz The only tank I have at the moment is shrimp only, but they love the Community Plus. I rotate about 4 foods, but they eat the Rapashy the quickest. I love how stable the Repashy is in the water, it doesn't break down before they finish it.

Ah yep. I am not too familiar with shrimp as we cant get them here in NZ. But if they are eating up that is the main thing hahha

Hey mate. I use the Seachem Malawi Buffer and Lake Salt for my African’s. Water very soft / low ph in QT. Would those oyster shells be worth an addition too? Would you stick some in a media bag in the canister filter? If so how many bags and how often you change them for a 235L?

Hey mate! I wouldn't generally recommend the buffers and salts. They are fine, just the only problem with them is they are very expensive, and you need to keep adding them. What I would actually suggest is using either aragonite sand and/or coral rock in the aquarium. This will keep the ph/gh/kh in a nice spot for the cichlids and once it is in you wont need to keep trying to adjust
