Pump Clean is a powder, so you'll want to dissolve in water so that you can soak your powerheads (or other equipment you'd like to clean) in it.

Meh. Snake oil. The price is crazy for the purpose. I have been usimg vinegar diluted with water for over 20 years and never had any of these issues with magnets or whatever. I have an uplift pump that has been running almost nonstop for roughly 7 years. The only times it stops is when I dump it in vinegar to clean it.

My tap water has a lot of hardness, and calcite etc. so using RODI will prevent any of the crud in the tap water from reducing the Pump Clean's (or citric acid, etc) effectiveness. Just an easy way to make sure I am getting the most out of it!

@@devildawg4947 as long as it needs! 2 to 3 hours if its really encrusted or you're dealing with thick calcium carbonate buildup.

This product is pointless just by kitchen grade citric acid powder Will not damage any pump on the market and a lot cheaper
