Awesome new fish species! The Moon tetras and water mellon tetras are incredibly beautiful under good white light and in a plants tank. super cool! The new laser corys are wildly beautiful. Im excited to see so many cool livebearers. I've caught those variatus platties and liberty mollies in florida ( from when these were once common pet imports in the 1910s thru 1940w) . Oh boy, those 2 species of mini livebearers are amazing too. So much cool stuff!!!! Holy smokes! Those Red Paradise fish...drool. I think the new Gymnogeos are one i may need to order as well! Whoa those mollys with the lyre tails are INSANE. Also the panchax (all the chin colors) are super great fish from Liberia ...that can be kept in many water parameters with beautiful results, as you (Dan) mentioned. Copper Molly's...brand new color line :) ( hybrid of 2 domesticated varieties).

The mouthbrooder at 5.04 is not an Egyptian mouthbrooder as such, but a type of Southern mouthbrooder, possibly within the Pseudocrenilabrus sp.aff. dispersus group. This chromotype differs from the other Pseudocrenilabrus philander subspecies by the presence of the intense red colour in the anal fin. Nice looking fish. Whilst the pencil fish are stunning (I doubt I'll be able to afford them) and the moon tetras look brilliant, imo the overlooked stars have got to be what you call the toothpick fish. In the UK we call it the Burmese armoured stickleback. These guys need a tank to themselves because they get outcompeted by everybody. We rarely see them, so you have been very lucky to get them.

I enjoy your videos. I’m looking for some smaller looking Tetras. Hummingbird Tetras, Toucan Tetra, Morse Code Tetras, and one of the smaller Blue Tetras, but I can’t remember the name for now. I’m also looking for the Yellow and Black Hillstream Loach. I would love to breed these fishes. I’ve been successful in most Egg Laying fish. Thank you for sharing. Can you ship to Central Florida?

The Killis and Guppies, Wow! As a nano planted tank person, I've been on the lookout for those toothpick fish for ages! I wonder if you got a group they'd breed if just left alone in a colony set up... I hope my fam can afford a gift certificate, because that's my wishlist now! Edit; a question for the crew; on the website the Indostomus/ toothpick info says only live foods but in this Dan says they'll take frozen, will they take really to frozen foods? I don't have readily available live foods so I do frozen baby brine/ daphnia etc.
@DansFish11 ай бұрын
Some of them will take frozen blood worms. Frozen baby brine would probably work, but you'll definitely need some live food on hand.
