I just set up my first 30-gallon aquarium and was looking for some ideas on which fish to add. This video was so helpful! I love how Freshwater Joe explains the different characteristics of each fish and how they would fit in my tank. I'm definitely going to consider adding some of these to my aquarium. These freshwater fish are perfect for our aquarium. Betta Fish looks really interesting for many fishkeepers to own. It has a very beautiful colour, which will be good for our fish tank. I just bought my first aquarium. This is very helpful since it shows the tank size, ph levels, water temperature and if the fish can be bought by itself or needs a group of it's peers to socialize with. Great video, this is very helpful! 😀

i got a 60 cm* 35cm *35cm acrylic aquarium and nice dyamaix plant lighting and dyamix 250L filter (overkill) that i will setup soon and been looking for tiny fish to add to it, so far rainbow tetras and black tetras are my top picks but loved the guppy's and shrimp so might add them as well. although not sure if i want to add a carpet plants or moss, but the anubis will look amazing in there.

Nice. Just keep in mind guppies reproduce a lot. With shrimp too that may be a ton of babies. Sounds like solid plan though

@@AquariumStoreDepot well its my first non-monster tank, have 2 tanks one with 3 giant arowana's and an oscar, and one with silver dollar and tin foil barbs, if the guppys reproduce 2 much i can add them there for a snack.

Seen as you included shrimp, I think it's only fair to include nerite snails. They don't multiply in freshwater like most snails and help keep your tank clean.

Hi there you can if you mix the right species and have a big enough tank. For example a school of tetras and guppies should work. Note that any schooling fish needs to be in a group.

I dont agree with the angelfish, i had 2 in a community fish i had to bring one back to the shop because they were bullying my white cloud minnows. My plecos would never come out while the angelfish was there and they ate any shrimp i introduced into my tank

Did you buy you’re angel fish at bigger size because I have 2 angelfish that I started off young with all my other fish young at they live happily together it’s not the best thing to do when you mix up all the ages they are best to start young with everything else so they grow up together and don’t get aggressive

i had more than 40 freshwater fish trough my life and the best is by far the dwarf snakehead rainbow or any kind of channa dwarf tolerate water condtion and temperature (hardy) loves caves small vicious predatory modafucker (entertainment live feeding if you cant afford a big fish in your tank) colourfull eel body shape easy to breed plant friendly and very inteligent he can read your feelings
