Ok here’s a cool but maybe not great fish tank idea. If you do land making it remember to give a lil credit. So it’s a fish tank but it has the wreckage of the Death Star from Star Wars the rise of Skywalker. It’s half underwater so that was my idea. You could have Kylo ren and Rey fighting

HEY! I’m new to this channel and found you tonight. So long story but i rescued this axolotl from a girl who wasn’t taking great care of it. Water was extremely dirty, the axolotl is pretty small and I’m unfortunate to say you did pick it up and held it. I now know you CAN NOT do that. The tube to use to clean the tank wasn’t even out of the package yet meaning she has never cleaned the tank even though she got it 6 weeks ago. They were making jokes about how she hasn’t fed the axolotl for about a week and I truly felt horrible. I asked as a joke if I could have it and she said yes. So I took her home in this tiny candy jar. I’m picking up the 3 gallon tank tomorrow morning but am planning to get a bigger tank very soon. I took the axolotl home for free so it would get a better life. I’m doing my research and I’m very confused what to get for her. I don’t have the budget so I’m going to get a fan to go above the tank and get a mesh top for it too. I look the lights out of the current tank and am planning to get night crawler worms and more blood worms tomorrow. Now here are my questions. Do night crawler worms need to stay in the fridge? What brand of sand should I use that doesn’t have iron in it for the bottom of the tank and how would I put the sand in so it doesn’t fly all over the place? Do I need a thermostat? I’m going to get Indian almond leaves, how much do I put in and how to I give it to the tank? (I’m just getting it so it helps her heal). What live plants do your suggest using? And most of all how do I clean the tank? I see people adding water to it after taking 15%, 30% 40% out and refilling it. The current water is very yellow and I feel like there’s a ammonia spike (how do I test that?) should I take out 15% and fill it with water. The girl gave me Nutrafin aqua plus to use but she says you have to let it sit in the water for 2 weeks before putting the water in the tank and that doesn’t should right. How do I apply a conditioner to the tank, do I put it right into the tank or the water I’m adding to the tank and do I let it sit for abit? what brand of conditioner do you suggest using? My tap water is drinkable aka we get out drinking water from the tank, should I be using that or use the water from a hose in my backyard? I truly have so many unanswered questions and I just want to give this poor thing a truly happy and healthy home but it’s can’t find proper answers anymore as everyone is saying something different. I’ve signed up for forms to get a better understanding of axolotl from other owners but I don’t want to get the wrong advice. If you could help me out that would be AMAZING! Or if anyone in the comments and community has advice it’s greatly appreciated! I apologize if my paragraph is all over the place I’m just really worried for this little guys health!
