Hi guys, my trip to the USA/Canada/UK has officially begun! There will be some familiar faces and some new - here is an Aquarium Gallery with Joey the king of DIY to kick us off! :D Also, I did originally had some footage touching the electric eel at the end, but I'm going to save that for another video as it was a bit long. I accidentally kept one caption saying to wait till the end to see it though... Apologies to anyone who got to the end thinking that was in there 😅

The reason Floridians dislike Lionfish is that they establish themselves on a coral head or other area and then consume every fish they can swallow. Katie, I really appreciate the videos you post. You are such a lovely young lady.

Hope you're having a wonderful time while putting together your videos. What I love, now that I recall seeing your video last year, is your added input and knowledge it adds to the video as you are both viewing the behaviors while spotting the varieties of fish in a given tank.( thought I subbed as well, so now I'm wondering if YT did that thing where it unsubs for no reason) It's more like listening to friends chatting it up than a non fish enthusiast viewing and only having Joey explaining it all. ❤ I hope if you have seasonal allergies you don't suffer the crazy season my daughter and I have been dealing with. It's been brutal for mine and I tend to have more mild reactions. Thanks for this great video!

I started in the hobby by watching Joey and i really liked him then. over the years he just started getting so cocky and full of himself, it really came through in his videos and it put me right off. a victim of youtube fame, i suppose. Haven't watched any of his content in a couple of years now.

Joey is a convicted felon and has done prison time. He is a complete phony on the internet. He puts on a nice guy act and voice in videos, but the real joey is an absolute piece of shit. He's a drug addict and can't stay away from cocaine and alcohol. He's abusive to every girlfriend he's ever had. He's been a bully throughout his entire teenage and adult life. His audience is so gullable and think he's a good guy. Leading up to his so called boxing match, his true colors started coming out. I hope his audience starts to see the real Joey Mullen. He's not a good person

When I was a kid I kept little bluegill in a tank . I trained them to jump out of the water and take a worm from my hand. 1st step.. tie a worm to a piece of thread hang with stick across the top of the tank. Raise the worms everyday until they are 2in out of water. Once the fish start jumping start holding worms with your fingers. At the surface at 1st .Then raise your hand until they are jumping and grabbing the worms from you. The fish fight over the worms.But quickly learn jumping gets you the biggest piece!

Sign above the electric eel could be "Don't touch me, it hertz...", or "Hi, watt's up!", or "I don't get out of my 'ohm much these days so please inform me of current events", or "You can touch me if you want, but I'll have to charge you..."

Awesome video! Looks like it was a really fun visit, so many really cool fish there! Favourite was definitely the piranah tank! There used to be a piranah aquarium where I went to uni and used to stick my hand in there to clean it. Everyone thinks I'm mad when I tell them that 😅 What was your favourite aquarium you saw there? Can't wait to see the rest of your video's on your Canada/USA/UK trip!
@Kaityscichlids4 ай бұрын
Hahaha, that is definitely very brave of you! My favourite was actually the piranha tank too. I absolutely love it, and the plants are so incredible. I would totally have that tank as a centrepiece in a house :) And thank you!! :D There will be lots of great content to come!
@the88tench34 ай бұрын
@@Kaityscichlids I miss that aquarium, was such a good setup, it had a really nice pleco in it too. It all got stripped apart and replaced with a dwarf crocodile or caiman of all things, and definitely wasn't brave enough to stick my hands in the tank with that in it 😂 The plants especially in that piranha tank were amazing, really cool to hear how changing the direction of the water flow affects it. The piranhas in a big shoal looked really good too and probably brought out a lot of natural behaviour in them! You should definitely set up an aquarium like that in your house if you can keep piranhas in Australia as a centrepiece next to the cichlids! Will definitely make sure to watch your upcoming videos, really interested to see where you go in the UK. Really should try and make some more videos on my own aquariums, you got any tips for filming aquariums and fish?

I have 2 3” yellow lab chiclids with 2 mbuna 4” chiclids. Put a 3” convict in 2 months ago and got a little chasing but they all getting a long after a day of putting convict in. It’s been 2 months and I just got a 2” pleco and a 3” Oscar. I put them both in same time and a few chiclids pecked at pleco tail and he ran and hid. They were all pecking and chasing the new Oscar so I put him in a QT tank floating in 75 gal tank for a week. Took him out and watched for 20-30 mins here and there through the day. Not to bad at all. I woke up the next day and they destroyed the whole top part of Oscar, tail and his mouth and they were all taking turns chasing him biting and I found my pleco dead!! Why can’t I add other fish? I need help!
