Since college is almost here, I just want to take the time now to thank you all for being with me with this successful year of Doom WAD playthrough videos. Just take a look at these stats I came up with when I counted all of the Doom WAD playthrough videos per year from 2012 to 2015: *2012:* 18 Doom WAD playthrough videos *2013:* 39 Doom WAD playthrough videos (with one of them being remade in 2016) *2014:* 29 Doom WAD playthrough videos *2015:* 18 Doom WAD playthrough videos And so far for 2016, I have made over 48 Doom WAD playthrough videos, which breaks 2013's record. The 2016 video remake of that one 2013 video doesn't count. So thank you all once again for being with me on this successful summer. You'll all have to wait to see what the summer of 2017 holds for you guys when it comes to Doom WAD videos.

14:17 the name of that gun in case people are wondering is the repeater. It's basically a direct upgrade to the plasma rifle and it can kill bosses quick. Normally it uses plasma ammo as one can guess. This weapon has been used in various wads like Stronghold: On the Edge of Chaos which is a very good one and let's just say it is one of those defend certain things against foes style of games. It has various powerups like a vampire orb which gives your attacks a life drain effect allowing you to heal yourself as you deal damage. It also has a life system so keep that in mind. What this one is based on is that you have a certain amount of lives and if you lose them all it's game over. The other form of losing is if the enemies destroy what you're protecting. For each level the enemies all come out in waves. It also has a hub area where you go to choose the level as well as buying stuff like the orbs I mentioned as well as raising your max health and armor too. You can also replay levels you've beaten in case you want to get more cash.

The first WAD would've been pretty great if the freezing actually worked 100%. I think there's a way to actually set the player speed instantly to 0 to remove the deceleration... right? (you'd also have to remove the ability to shoot and aim as well, which could've just been done with SetPlayerProperty). Some on-screen popups would've been pretty great, too ("YOUR TRIAL IS RUNNING OUT!", "5000 DEMONS DETECTED. PLEASE PURCHASE FULL VERSION TO REMOVE.", etc). The second WAD, on the other hand... oh dear.

what if there were craftable new weapons and attachments, like a scope, Bullet Accelerator (More dmg), FMJ (Piercing shots), and a Gun Shield (Take 5% less dmg when holding the weapon and deflect bullets). There can be Pipe rifles (Like a combat rifle/sniper), Laser shotgun (Double dmg and penetrating 1 target), and even a Gladius? Thad be cool.

First map reminded me somehow of arcade rail shooters, and/or "Resident Evil". Also, average or not, the boss battle in the second WAD/PK3 was really one of the most intense I've ever seen and it sure take a lot to make Aquarius199 to struggle like that with no Terry Trap string attached.

The first WAD, the way it buffers would make for an interesting challenge. I've noticed doors still move even while you're frozen. I have to wonder if floor and ceiling traps function the same way. And if that's true, the final boss battle in Doom II would most likely be a pain in the ass due to you freezing and an enemy can respawn in your spot killing you instantly.

I wouldn't really trust anything that DartPower asks you to play... the custom text screen in EERIE_V5.WAD was blatantly stolen from psxdoomzandro_v2.1.WAD Speaking of stealing, this guy's most well-known work as a project called "Mobius", a huge ZIP file that contains *LOTS* of stolen material from other WADs, like Ghoul's Forest, Drown In Blood, Doom Barracks Zone, and Invasion UAC. It's one of the worst WADs on /idgames.

Download ZDL Launcher, you can put your favorite mods and even add and select many source ports! Just google it, it's good when GZDoom can't load mod by itself!
