I have the Aquascape 1000 Pond Skimmer and I can easily remove the debris basket with one hand. It's so easy to clean, when needed.

OMG you showed that Savior skimmer and it's my worst nightmare. Mine is exactly like that one. 😪 A turtle has temporarily (🤞) made a home in it.

Had a pond with no pumps and never cleaned in ten years and had trouble pumping pond out till I used a grinder pump really has worked to pump even with lots of trash in pond

When I built my father-in-law‘s pond the company we went through sold us the other companies products and I am not a fan and wish I would have done more looking prior and used yours.

Chris I had the exact same model skimmer on one of My ponds. Let me tell you they are a bitch to keep clean and maintain. The basket will jam if the outter shell is in anyway shifted from ground pressure. Also the filter pad is a pain in the butt to take in and out and clean. The plastic part that holds the pad is just like the basket...It will jam also and it will take for ever to get that filter holder to slide back into those grooves that hold it. Also the pond water goes thru the wier door and into the filter basket which catches the big stuff but then goes thru two port holes at the bottom of that divider wall. Those ports full up with pond goo and it's a pain to clean out if needed to make better flow to the pump. My pumps I say pumps because I had many burn out. The pond goo would get so thick in the bottom. I finally propped my last pump up on a rock. The filter is in the wrong spot. It should be right under the basket. Trust me I know all about this skimmer because I had two different sizes and they both were a pain. God bless y'all
