Wish I knew this more than a year ago when building my tank. Took me 4 days to made the scape the way I want with macro rock then also ran into all sort of problems: remaining dust that was not clean out making its way around aquarium, spike in nutrient, algea attached on rocks for a solid 4-5 months before I can get rid of them, 1 piece break out without a way to attach it back under water without draining the tank really low. This is a game changer if you've been through the difficulty making the scape yourself.

Also a proud owner of one of the smaller pieces Dwayne was holding up with several holes and am well underway in creating my zoa garden. Also got their adhesive glue and it’s a nice thick solution and no issues with making some frags stick securely on rock. Great video!

Hello, hello - How are magnetic fragrocks made? Are these neodymium magnets? Do you first cover a magnet (that usually has a nickel coating) with some rubber and then glue it onto cement? How do you protect yourself against corrosion and the release of heavy metals from the magnet coating into the water?
@ParkersReef9 ай бұрын
Afraid I am not sure how they’re made, I know they test their products well before releasing to market though

This is really cool and looks so easy! I wonder if Europe has something similar... Ps. The "painting with the two fingers" ... is the afresco called the Creation of Adam by Michelangelo. Sorry, I'm an ex art student in Italy 😁

Just wait until the tank tears it apart and you have trace element issues. Had it, left it

are their FLAT AQUARIUM SAFE epoxy resins... the high gloss looks un-natural.
@ParkersReef Жыл бұрын
Yes, you can coat it in sand

@@ParkersReef Will it still stay high glossy shiny when it is inside a fish tank.. will the water DULL the shine hopefully ?
@ParkersReef Жыл бұрын
The shine will be covered with corral one algae quite quickly
@gladiatormechs5574 Жыл бұрын
@@ParkersReef i made my own fake rock scene, i painted it and sealed it with resin that is VERY HIGH GLOSS.. i am hoping that when cured and under water it will calm down on the high shine.. are you saying that it will ?
@ParkersReef Жыл бұрын
Oh you coated the entire scape on epoxy? That will probably not work so well. You want the rock to be porous
