Hi MD. So, I bought a first aquarium for my bf, but I became obsessed with watching aquascaping videos myself and last week just bought my first aquarium. Have watched so many of your videos which have really inspired me to create my own aquarium. For the time being I'm just going for plants because I want to learn more about keeping plants healthy. Later I will decide what creatures to put. Anyway thanks for being really inspiring to a newby. My initial inspiration for this was to give my partner something calming. I tried again and the uprooted every plant i had in the tank 🤣🤣 My only success in planted tank is a 5gallon with guppies... It's hard to get aquatic plants in my country (Jamaica)... I think that everyone applies to their tanks as much as they can and not everyone is an aquascaper. Photos of individual tanks do not reflect the actual image because they are taken with different cameras. But it's great that you can help someone 👍👍 Greetings from Poland 👍

Alright MD! So I've been opposed to your last Reddit video because, at least for me, that always seems like lazy content. Making your own subreddit makes a lot of of sense for this! It is actually your community that you communicate with and people that actually want your advice, I much prefer this over the other video! Edit: The subreddit has become crazy active too, so you can get lots of advice videos or showcase videos off of that lol.

Hi MD, I have problems with building up the substrate into ‘mountains’ or higher levels of ground. Whatever I do building up one side of the tank, after a while, the substrate levels out and the rocks sink back to ground level... Please can you do ‘how to build up a mountainside scape’. Love all your tanks, you are awesome at what you do!

I'm not an expert but I do know that you can try a mesh bag and fill it with some lava rocks or some other rock and place them in the back ... after that just pour the soil above the bags and place the rocks somewhat near the bags .
