My thing with planted aquascapes. I'm a nature style person by the way. Don't over think hardscape. The more you tinker around, add or glue stuff, over think the golden ratio, then your aquascape becomes more unnatural looking. Just do what makes you happy :)
@GreenAquaShop2 жыл бұрын
Yeah, you are more like Viktor then. :) BTW I admire your work on KZbin. I agree with the fact, that if you do not master the technical and picture composition skills, the more you use them the more artificial-looking your scapes will be. But if you learn, you evolve, you can use these skills without thinking, as your second nature. I strongly believe that it is better to learn the skills than to just put wood and rocks together, following your gut feeling. Some will do it naturally, they have the gift. But most will fail and do something that is not so appealing. With that said, sweat and effort will take away from the joy of pursuing the hobby, so it is most rewarding when you act exactly where your competence is. Cheers Ryo!

Aquaristics is an encounter between a free man and a free nature. I personally divide the styles of aquariums into two. Compositions that create nature with the help of art. The second is when we create art with the help of nature

Wow great guide 1. I agree! The rock would be a bad idea with the contrasting styles being joined. 2 absolute fountain of knowledge can’t wait to mess with my tank and find my composition. 3. I’m going to try and find a course. (Hopefully one ran by you)I would love to learn more as I’m starting what feels like the beginning of a very Long journey! Great content though! You mentioned it briefly a tank with 360 viewing and how that composition is different. I ask because I have a 110 gallon tub fitted on a large table so the view is like a 45 degree angle from almost all sides! It seems like I dove straight into the deep end on difficulty! Like you said some people are just more natural and I realized I ain’t one of em.

I've been thinking about getting a betta, how many gallons would you recommend me to get for a betta? (I've been also thinking about adding some neon tetras to the tank too)
@BeedoBimble2 жыл бұрын
For a betta, at least 5 gallons imo. If u add neons, which I wouldn’t recommend bcuz they could hurt the betta or the betta could eat them. If u think they’ll be fine, then I’d say at least 10 gallons for if u have both
@vivekvs19922 жыл бұрын
10 gallon if both.. I tried in a 5 gallon.. It wasn't pretty.. And I made the mistake of adding the betta first...so go for a bigger tank.. Tetra first.. About a dozen so they can shoal properly.. Then later a betta.. Plus some bettas are just meanies... Mine harassed every fish and shrimp possible.. My mom's betta.. Much more chill..but don't add betta if you want shrimp
@klebberbrazilian.theprofessor2 жыл бұрын
5 gallons. But for a community with Betta and Neons, I'd say 12...13 gallons.
@coerncapone55862 жыл бұрын
Really depends on the betta‘s character. In my 84 litre (18 gallons) tank it works with a really relaxed betta named Pixie and 20 Black Neons. He doesn‘t even care about my neocardina davidi. My other Betta is a real tyrant and likes to stay alone. I keep him in a 30 litre (6,5 gallons) tank. I would never keep Neons in a tank smaller than 14 gallons.

As a member of the Aquascape and Biotop Aquarium Community i have to inform you that what you consider as Biotop tank (the 650l) does not fulfil the conditions of a Biotop Aquarium at any point. If you want to show a Biotop Aquarium in your Gallery you may consider hireing a professionall Biotop Aquarist
@GreenAquaShop2 жыл бұрын
You are absolutely right. This is why I mentioned in the original video, that it is not a perfect example of a biotope, please consider watching that video too. We are not planning to go deeper into that side of the hobby, because there are so many rules, so many restrictions... It is kinda' the same with the Dutch style too. Peace Thimo. Cheers.
@thimoschreiber42752 жыл бұрын
@@GreenAquaShop I already saw the video the day it was published, but I was concerned that in this video today it wasn‘t mentioned that it was not designed according to the rules of the biotop aquaristics. There are also viewers who have not watched all the videos and so can not know that it is not biotop aquarium. This can then lead to confusion and wrong attitude towards biotope aquaristics. Especially as such a large aquarium channel, which has a very big influence on the hobby, I find that it is also your responsibility to clear up such misunderstandings. Even if you only do this briefly and concisely in one short sentence. Nevertheless great Video 👍
