The most extraordinary thing I ever saw in my aquarium. Like our big rounded planet aquarium, we are all part of an ecosystem and every single form of life has a purpose.
Even if it's really hard to see with naked eyes, zooplankton plays a crucial role in the base of the food chain. It's part of the food regime for many whales which I find incredible when you notice the size difference.
I hope one day to revisit this again because I had lot a fun to record this for the first time. Next time, lets try with a microscope :)

Those bottles have been giving to me, one of my many goals of this channel is to put the spotlight on Canadian entrepreneurs often in the shadow from our USA cousin.

He ships in the entire country. Keep in mind the more life you see in a bottle, the faster it will crash if not use rapidly.
So when you see less organism in a bottle is to make sure they survive and feed on the phytoplankton for a longer period of time.
The variety of zooplankton can vary, each organism reproduces at different rates.

@@AquaSplendor I normally let the tank to cycle first and experience ugly phase(s) before introduce rotifers and phytoplankton culture. That's why your story is interesting: how the cycle process would be, and the phases that this tank will undergo.

@@oropherelf8544 That was lat Episode I think, the aquarium is already cycle, I actually could put something 2-3 weeks ago, just got delay with different video. The live sand I took from my other aquarium made a HUGE difference to accelerate this (wasn't expected that fast).

I have just added chaeto to my new tank just like you did, how do you keep it from coming apart ? my was blowing all over the place . So i had to weight it down with a stone :)

I just let it go until it got stuck. Its now on the middle which is perfect for now, will eventually move it on the back of the aquarium.

@@darthcon34 Yeah just make sure it doesn't block the pump. Mine just got attach naturally on the rock, got lucky. I remove a big chunk after it grow a lot in my aquarium, it depleted a lot of nutriment.
