It was initially what I was supose to do when I started the channel but... I love doing different things 😅. It's my favorite style, less word, more visual 😗

Beautiful videography interrupted by several zombie apocalypse video game ads.

Ah man, sorry about your past internet history search 😆, kidding, I just saw what KZbin did with this video AD, I remove one, way too intense to my taste, don't hesitate to give me feedback on this, will adjust!

Aqua Splendor I usually get Marine Depot ads, but lately its been mixing in lots of zombie video games. As long as they don’t become Marine Zombies we’ll be ok.

I just wanted to let you know that this is the most well made videography of a fish video I’ve ever seen and that it was satisfying on so many levels.

Thank you, currently working on my best one which actually uses some of the footage of this video :)

Its very satisfying and fun to see every step to the build. (sometimes twice ;) It must take a lot of time to stage every shot and edit it but I'm happy you do it!

Sssh we don't talk about the other aquarium :P It doesn't take THAT much time to be honest but compare if I wasn't doing video the aquarium would have a LOT of corals by now hehe :P I do it because I know I love to see that from others, step by step, learning on the way, it's great! So I thought people would love to see this also

You're going to love that light! I started with a Fluval Nano 20; had it for a week, returned it and bought the AI Prime 16HD. So glad I did! I absolutely love it!

The filter intake is not skimming the surface of the water you still have stuff floating on the surface. Maybe make something that will adjust the flow in the intake which will cause it to overflow better or spill over so it skimms the surface better.

Yes I was worry about it, and it's confirmed. I try different thing but It's not working, I would need to cut the last chamber a bit more down, block the fence inflow on the bottom. yeahh... that height of the aquarium still haunt me =/

Also, I always thought that washing the cotton filter under tap water would kill the good bacteria inside of it due to the chlorine. It might just be not true.
@AquaSplendor4 жыл бұрын
Good point, It is true, but that's why I have sand and rock 😉

to disperse pressure point from the lamp you could use silicone to adhere a stainless steel washer onto the factory clamp. bumping it would be a terrible way to break the glass :(

Also I love that you say to document everything. I do also. I use an App called AquaticLog. Its a great App. Measurements, Feeding, Dosing, Maintenance, Water Changes, Inhabitants and Diary are all of the categories in the App. Check it out. It's been a life saver to have all the data organized and in one place.
@AquaSplendor4 жыл бұрын
OH thx for the tips! I've used in the past similar app. But turn out I just don't have enough time to put all the stuff in it :( had to sacrifice couple thing in other being able to produce videos

@@AquaSplendor yea it's probably a lot to do videos. I actually filmed everything since I've started my tank I just haven't found the time to edit the video. Hey I had a question for you. I'm looking at getting a larger Refugium and trying to figure out my substrate. I use Koral Lagoon by Brightwell Aquatics now but was thinking about mixing it with something else. CaribSea Eco Complete aquarium substrate. It's for fresh water but didn't you use it? Do you know if I could use it in Saltwater? Would it hurt my already established eco-system?
@AquaSplendor4 жыл бұрын
@@scotty2salty327 The algae will love this substrat, but not so sure for the corals in long run, if you see my black sand comparison, check in the comments, I posted a link with the ICP test results.
@scotty2salty3274 жыл бұрын
@@AquaSplendor Yikes I just checked your post on Reef2Reef with the ICP test. Iron 40ppm? 😯 And silicates super high! Just FYI I called Marine Depot and they said NOT to use it in Saltwater for the exact reason your test results showed. I decided to go with Mineral Mud instead. I have a small CPR hang on back fuge and I'm upgrading to a medium 6" bigger. I use Brightwell Koral Lagoon Substrat in it now. I'm going to re-use that and additionally put a layer of mineral mud on the bottom. I also ordered a Cheato Max LED from Innovative Marine. This fuge is gonna be singin'!

Don’t get the way you do this why are you only putting the rock in after you have added the bacteria why not first so it seeds quicker.

This ammonia test does not show a zero value. It only shows >0.15 This means that you can never archive a full white colour.
