Hi, David, Headroom varies throughout the boat, but in main cabin areas it's as much as 6'5". I'm 5'11" and one of the other people onboard during our test is 6'1", and I don't believe either of us had to duck anywhere in the saloon.

What the HELL is the obsession with sinks??? I guess two massive industrial size sinks aren't enough, better add a third for good measure. A great big boat and a two burner stove? How about an oven, a freezer, or a dishwasher?

+Walter Engle Hey Walter - our test boat had the steering station on the bridge, only, but there is an option on the 48 to have a lower helm station. It replaces the settee to starboard with a helm and double-wide helm chair.

+Walter Engle Upper helm is/can be enclosed (plenty of protection). Lower helms take up too much living space and usually just collect dust. Plus it's very expensive and more things to go wrong. They usually slave off one or the other, so there is no redundancy unless you have two separate systems installed $$$$

Weather shouldn't be a concern. the enclosure should handle that. Want to go out in really bad weather , get a stronger enclosure

This is a river boat, it is a joke as an ocean boat. Actually it is kind of irresponsible to call it a long range boat. It is a toy boat. The front cabins close to the bow, windows have opening capability in the bow, no rail around the swim platform, such a tiny cockpit, low tunnel, small fuel tanks, it can't even go 500 miles in the open seas with terrible economy for a long distance cruising boat. I hold four world records in boating. I have some idea about what I am talking about. Electric stoves?????????? what if the generator fails. Now you have to run your main engines for dinner?
