As a non-legion player, why do i keep seeing uninspired, barely unique new legion classes nowadays? Back then it was the bigshot of AQW, flexing legion in yulgar means youre a VIP who sold your soul to artix for extra legion tokens. And the classes have its own individuality that separates it from each other, it was an epitome of hardwork and wealth.. Now, its just a weird salad that youre forced to eat because theres nothing else on the table and you just came back from your 18hr legion tokens grind But hey, its blue and black so its worth it :)))

First things first, Blademaster/Assassin/LBMA already existed years ago, and were remade this year, similarly to how the Dark Casters were remade last year, Exalted Harbinger was a remake of Soul Cleaver, or Abyssal Angel's Shadow being a remake of Abyssal Angel. It might be "uninspired" to you, but I see it as AE giving the newer player who weren't around when those classes were released a chance to play them. They're even the same prices, but renamed and with another artwork so that older players won't complain that their precious rare classes are no longer rare. And I personally love it. Rare weapons, armors, and all types of cosmetic stuff are ok. Having them and wearing them shows for how long you've played and supported the game and stuff. But rare classes are a terrible idea imo. It's basically gatekeeping a newer player from accessing part of the gameplay permanently based simply on the fact that they weren't around when a class was available. Remakes of rare classes are something I wholeheartedly support. But, just in case you meant something else by uninspired, do you mean that the Dark Caster classes are similar to each other? Same with Blademasters? Well, that's because they're variations of the same concept. The Dark Caster classes are supposed to be wizards, so obviously they will all be magical-based, and seeing as they all are part of the same faction, the spells they cast are similar to each other. And the Blademaster classes are ninja-inspired, so they're all dodge classes, and again, work for a same faction, so they have similar skillset. But if you meant that all Legion classes are the same regardless of them being remakes, or all based around one same concept, then it is because you really are a "non-legion player". Because they're not. The gameplay of the Blademaster classes is focused on dodge, and they're mostly better for farming and PVPing. Dark Casters are focused on magic, being usually for soloing and sometimes support. Revenant is a farming&support class that's focused on magic. DoomKnight is a physical damage class focused on soloing that gets better the more a fight lasts. Harbinger is a physical damage class focused on praying you don't accidentally die because AE just had to nerf the 4th skill. But basically, they're pretty different from each other. Most of their limitations come from the fact that AQW has a pretty basic combat system. They only have 6 skill slots and one of them is for potions. There's only so much they can do with it. So you might aswell say that every class on the game is uninspired because they only have 5 skills. But also since when did old classes "have their own individuality"? It certainly wasn't on their skill animations, since they had like 11 animations that they kept repeating for every single class that came out up to 2014 or so. Or was it their skill artworks, which were just as copy-pasted? Or maybe it was their gameplay which was extremely different and engaging? Probably not either, seeing as many classes were extremely similar. Heck, Classic Pirate, Barber, Renegade and Rogue are literally reskins. Same case with Healer, Acolyte and Witch. Also the same case with Warrior, Beast Warrior, Warlord, and Pumpkin Lord. Rustbucket, ProtoSartorium and Enforcer were all reskins aswell. Not to mention Chaos Slayer, the class that had 5 different names and artworks. Clearly the "epitome of hardwork". And back then we had one type of auto attack. The main difference was just speed, but it was all ONE auto attack. As opposed to nowadays, where each class has their own different auto-attack. Including the Legion ones. Even ones that didn't have unique autoattacks gained them later on, like Dark Caster's Dark Pulse, which deals magical damage and has a 20% chance to stun the opponent. Heck, let's make a comparasion. Mage's Fireball : Attacks 1 target and deals 250% spell damage, or 440% spell damage if the enemy has Frozen Blood. Also applies a DoT for 10 seconds. Legion Revenant's Atramentous Shade : Attacks 3 targets and applies Decay, which blocks the opponent from healing, for 2 seconds. Also applies Consumed, which decreases Dodge Chance by 25% and causes a DoT for 12 seconds. It's also guaranteed to Hit and Critically Strike. So clearly, nowadays they do more with each individual skill than they did back then. "Its just a weird salad that youre forced to eat because theres nothing else on the table and you just came back from your 18hr legion tokens grind" Yeah, no. No one is forcing you to anything. Even if you don't like Legion classes, there's still Void Highlord, LightCaster, Stonecrusher, Archpaladin. A bunch of good classes that play and look VERY differently from each other. "But hey, its blue and black so its worth it :))) " Oh hey, the little passive-aggressive smile! Nice. Did you ever consider the possibility that people actually... you know... LIKE how the classes play? Or have preferences amongst them. The Legion has a unified color scheme, sure, but it's not just the color scheme. People like the artwork of Legion items. And for classes... when was the last time you saw someone using Soul Cleaver/Exalted Harbinger post-nerf? Or when did you last see someone using Darkside? Glacial Warlord? Classic Soul Cleaver? These are legion classes too, but they're barely used because there's better classes. So clearly it's not just the fact that it's Legion. So... basically, I'd say the reason you only see uninspired legion classes as a non-legion player is because either A) You, as a non-legion player, didn't experience them for yourself. B) You did and simply WANT to only see non-inspired classes because you just dislike the faction or the game. Or C) You think every new class is worse because of nostalgia.

for those people who dont know whats the difference between legion token and ac version one let me explain. the swordmaster class have better dodge and powerful stun. and legion swordmaster assassin one have highest damage when low health and a lifesteal healing. while this ac version class in this video have fastest auto and fastest cooldown compared to other two making swordmaster assassin ac version the fastest spammable ability but weaker damage while legion blademaster assassin one the strongest in terms of damage but long and slow cooldown

not really this class can be very deadly with thief enhancement this ac version of swordmaster assassin have fastest cooldown compared to other two that would make it very deadly in pvp cuz it can spam spinning dragon so fast theres nothing ya can do cuz of short cooldown and haste passive

Almost...'lil bit equal to Blaze Binder. The only downside is longer cooldown. And yeah..almost similar like Vampire Lord, you sacrifice the defenses to buff your stats. In this case, it buff your dodge chance instead of haste.

it will lack mana in the longer fights especially if the boss hits hard but if you can manage the enemy bosses damage your auto attacks will do the mana problem for you since the 4th skill(which only costs 15 mana and gives a searing effect if the enemy is dragonkin which deals 200%) heightens the crit chance and if you're against a dragonkin it is very rare to run into mana problems since the 2nd skill(which only costs 10 mana) has a 50% chance to sapp 20 mana against all dragonkin and the 5th(which cost 35mana)has a glitch which heals 90% of your hp(if you wait for 12 seconds after activating it) and it also reduces incoming damage by 40% for 12 secs and the class is not so good in farming but it has its benefits since its third skill hits up to 6 targets dealing 100% of your weapon damage and it increases your haste by 20% and double if one of the target is a dragonkin and all dragonkins get seared(its like bleeding or poison but one time only and it deals 200% damage) so yeah you might get pressured looking at its cooldowns but the third skill will solve that problem for ya, my combo fyi is 5424234245 then loop and if the enemy is dragonkin i will 524243245 then loop

You can use Northlands Monk for supporting party when starting legion token farm in /legionarena.

Then if your that broke, just go for easy farming classes, like shaman, Blaze Binder, eternal inversionist ETC, takes a lot patience and time though but once you got it. You'll good to go for other good classes. And if your broke and cant buy AC then wait for them to giveaway ac again.

i agree and disagree if blademaster stun blademaster assassin then it win but if it failed to stun the target blademaster assassin will win against blademaster also it has haste passive making it fastest cooldown out of three if you compared three of them you will know this ac version is deadly and fast cooldown while legion token version one have higher damage but long cooldown and slow auto attack
