Thank You for taking the time to watch and comment on my video, I think you will enjoy the CMMG .22 as much as I have, and you will have more fun than buying it built too! Plus, their full line of kits, parts and accessories shows their commitment to us, the end users. Good Shooting, Lance

Answers questions I had about the CMMG 22 products. The conversion vs dedicated stuff on their site left me a little unsure. I have a registered lower, so you can understand the need for a .22. I didnt realize these could be ANY upper. I may just build one if it ends up the same as one of their dedicated uppers assys. Thanks.

The Manufacturer, CMMG, advises the following; There is no need for the headspace to be done on this system as it is not needed in the blow back operated systems.

There's a company called Beyer Barrels that makes .22lr barrels. I plan to buy one for a project like this.

I have a older colt M4 AR15 will this upper work on it also?
@TriggerShims3 жыл бұрын
You will have to get an upper that will match your Colt lower, I would assume so, but some older Colts were not the same, and will require an offset pin, they are available at EABCO - www.eabco.net/Colt-AR15M16-Receiver-Offset-Adaptor-Pin_p_15090.html

You are correct. But, ....and this is my personal opinion, I think that looks unfinished, but to each their own.

All the parts can be found at www.triggershims.com/ar_15_shims.html at the bottom of the page, and with links there to Brownell's, but due to rapidly changing market prices I decided not to list it out as the prices would only be relevant for a short period of time. Besides, shopping for the parts is half the fun ;-)
