@SplittingAt0ms no because they aren't in the same network. Same mobile network, different local network. It doesn't work like that. It's like having two different wireless access points in the same house. The computers can't communicate with the others unless they are connected to the same access point. It also depends on what the ar drone does. If you modded it heavily and replaced whatever it uses for wi-fi with something 4G somehow and connected a computer to that it might work.

This drone is not designed for outdoors. We purchased it for outdoor camera taking and if you sneeze it falls out of the air. It can't take any wind gust over 5 mph which is rare to get the wind under 5 mph. That video is highly edited.

over 6m height the ultrasond heigt system is at amximum range.. you can go higher but it become unstable in speed and you have to stabilise manually. wi fi range is supposed to be 50-100m.. but there is some hacks you can switch to 2.4ghz and up to 2 kilometer range

It's in case of emergency you can press the emergency button to turn off the 4 propellers. Here it's an example.

@tommytube2103 i would guess the E revo cause i don't even think the airport security would know what an AR.Drone is so you might not be able to bring it. But ,The 1/10 E revo is EXTREMLY big and that would be hard to carry,So you consider getting the 1/16 e revo instead of the drone.

Best toy I have ever owned, and I'm in my 30's. Cheap, easy to control. Please explain the thinking behind the emergency button. Why don't you just put an automatic link to the parts store there instead because the thing is fucked if you press it outdoors.

A loop of two 5 second clips and fake crashes! Doesn't make the product look very good and I had one and 2 upgraded batteries in my cart! 2' and a 5mph gust will knock it down. Also how is it meant for indoors being 23"?

Emergency button should patch you through to a professional pilot so he can take over the controls, not make your quadricopter drop like a stone.

Just KNOW THIS...if that drone hits the water it will be DEAD!! I crashed into a puddle, a deep puddle almost a foot deep and I immediately disconnected the battery. After drying it off, I plugged it back in and I heard a sizzling sound coming from one of the motors and it began to smoke. I drove home and held the drone out the window like a kid with a pinwheel in an attempt to thoroughly dry it. It never came back on. I sent it to Parrot and this is what they said: "We have received your drone for repair. Unfortunately due to the water damage present, the cost of repair exceeds the value of a new unit. The drone needs a Main Board, Navigation Board, Body, Cross and all motors. The unit will also need replacement props and shafts.The only funds needed will be for the return shipping. Please email your credit card number and expiration date to proceed. Thank you for your time. AR.Drone Repair Team" 10 seconds floating in the water. FINISHED!! Remember that when you are doing those, albeit SUPER cool, flying water shots, though personally I think that the "Repair Team" is Full of Sheete in that they claim EVERYTHING was destroyed and I find that hard to believe.
