I am 36 years old. In the evenings I have some time to play games. I downloaded dayz a few days ago and played around a bit. I won't lie, the game was a little difficult for me. It gets much easier once you get the basic survival down, hunting, fishing , fire, keep warm and dry, and learn to be stealthy. I'm just a little over 200 hours now and looking to get into base building. I found it much easier to learn the game playing on a low population community server.

Solo makes you feel like a proper survivor, brutal but the most rewarding. Little plays feel big and finding that item you are looking for is obviously twice as hard so when you get it it's the best. I get lost in the game playing solo.

@@Ar-k i started solo and a mate has come back into the game and so now we are a duo just surviving. Not PVP yet. Good fun being 'scared' of other 'vivors' ..Base building next. Had to laugh at your coop location - exactly where i told my mate we should build a base about a day ago.

Dude playing on official is BRUTAL. No map ruined shit clothes no knife to start or ANYTHING map is a big thing for me im big on putting markers down to mark like a farm (Goats here) etc. or Base here. Solo is TOO brutal SPRINT depletes ffs. I need custom server with unlimited sprint as a bare MUST. Ive just logged on a modded uk server with a lot of mods (they need to sort summit about compression or file size coz i have over 500gb of mods lol) first thing i see is fancy fucking wallpaper lol mad but they give you some decent size close (slots) a fucking knife food and rags. and a flare for at night or starting a fire.

Solo trick that works on not so experienced players, say with the mic open something like goodbye cruel word and pop a round off. Non-experienced players come to loot and walk into a full auto gun.

I only play official solo, mostly because of life pressures restricting when I can play (cannot commit to long sessions). It was nice to see a solo adventure vid, and I liked your chicken coop base. I find as a solo player you need to do much larger and longer flanking moves, which can result in losing your quarry but it keeps you safer in battle. Thanks for the content!!!

Play aggressively - if engaging. Over 90% of players play passively, stick to their area or repeat movements far too often. Cam has a good PVP video about what I mean.

This is probably going to sound stupid (and it is actually quite ridiculous) but I've been playing DayZ on and off for a while now - Solo only - and so often loot up with proper gear and so much food, but then run around scared out of my mind of PvP, as I don't want to loose my stuff. The result is that I'm terrible at PvP and always run around nervous 😂. I have no idea why I've never thought of building a small base (I've never ever built anything 😔) stashing my stuff and going at it much more aggressively. Your video has changed my life 😅. I prefer solo. I enjoy the survival aspects, of hunting, fishing, so on. I do also enjoy the pvp, but on my own terms. Sometimes I just like to chill and be a hermit, but sometimes I need action. The typical groups I've played with tend to focus primarily on building massive bases, raiding, and pvp. Nothing against that, but it can get very taxing doing the same routine daily and being go, go, go all the time.

Yeah I play solo the biggest thing is always preparing for 4. When I say that I mean if you think they can cover all 4 angles you’ll play smarter . I do think watching this (the vid is amazing) maybe could have pushed a little more and been a tad aggressive picking off one is always great but when you loose track of the other it becomes very stressful Amazing vid man love the content 🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤

I'm always solo and have lots of fun. Servers I play on have safe zone traders so I socialize there. I usually make a few friends that are willing to help me if I'm getting raided etc etc. Building solo bases is fun! I think you have more options and can even build in the forest as a stand alone.

Usually always play solo, I find unless you can get team mates that play exactly like you and communicate and contribute just as much it can get frustrating playing in groups. Plus I can go for weeks undetected as solo. That being said I've had some of my best experiences as a large group on a private server, I guess it depends on vanilla/modded but usually solo is for me.

I play mostly solo, but at times I also play with teammates. Both are fun but in their own ways. I have to say, for me, DayZ is a game most immersive when played solo, no doubt about it. Also a big winning point is the fact that you decide your own journey and game content 100%. In a team you make A LOT of compromises. And I’m not just talking anout PVP-fights. It’s basically translatable to every aspect of the game and how you play it. I absolutely prefer solo.

The chicken probably died to a contaminated zone. That's why you found this small glass ball at the entrance. In addition, I have a few questions. On which server do you play? I'm pretty sure it's a server with mods, but this looks mega interesting! Have you ever thought about opening your own server for you incl. community? Noob solo here and mostly I play this way because I don't have anyone to play with. Since the 1.23 drop things have become much more hectic on the coast. You're likely spawned in with a bunch of other raw spawns and if one of them defects and tries for a kill the killing just cascades. Six or seven people spawn in the same location, all or most of them die because of one person's aggro, then those same six or seven people spawn in a new location with the original aggro person. I'd love to see more solo play from you on the recent release because this pattern seems to be repeating.

You need one rope two short sticks combine for a fence kit then place the fence jit attach two logs use a pickax to build the base then attatch planks and nails and use a hammer or hatchet to build the frame then the walls after you can make it a gate by attaching metal wire and mounting it with plyers to put barbed wire on do the same thing
