When Shreya Ghoshal was doing live in concert programme in Malaysia, she gave a surprise to everyone by singing a very popular malay song by Dato Sri Siti and stunned everyone with her precision and singing ability in malay. @@xiaomihome6208 : Shreya Ghoshal is a Bengali Brahmin,..but she sings in lot many indian languages including Tamil. Its like Singer Vani Jayaram or Yesudas singing Bengali songs,.. doesn't mean they speak, understand or write in Bengali,..same way. But the big wow thing about Shreya is, she just sings with 100% precision about the pronounciation of the song language which she sings without an iota of error...looks like she takes more effort and great deal of time to get each and every word right before she records on microphone for an other language song...which most singers may not try to do.
