Ar Tonelico - EXEC_HARMONIUS/. with Lyrics

This was Mir's very first song, made out from her feelings of gratitude to the humans for creating her, and from her love for them, but she never got to sing it because it was discarded together with the other songs that weren't of practical use to her creators. Because of that, when Mir recovered it, she chose to never sing it and sealed it in the Silver Horn. Its effect is giving calm to the minds of its listeners, and enshrouding them in happiness.
In the game, it was sung back to Mir by Misha during the final battle, in an attempt to quell her hatred by reminding her of the love she once felt for the Humans.

Although none of the manga had a pure EXEC_/. or METHOD_/. song, excepting for the At2 manga adaptation, in which they even completely modified the lyrics of the originals. All the manga had to offer were short snippets of EXEC_HYMME/. songs.

Metafalica appearing in the lyrics to this song was done deliberately as foreshadowing for the second game, according to Shikata herself. In other words, the name was already planned from the time the first game was in development.

My headcanon is that Misha, while singing HARMONIOUS, wanted to say "crafted a song of hope" and she found that "METAFALICA" meant the same thing (in Metafalss note), so she used that instead of the component words in Hymmnos. Probably because it shortened what she needed to say and it would resonate with Mir since she was interested in what was going on in Metafalss.

Well, Mir's version didn't have half of the lyrics this one does, did it ? Everything mentioning Mir herself is Misha's creation...so this is an expanded version. And it probably sounds better than what Mir made, because Mir was a very young Reyvateil then.

90% of the stuff about the 5 main games and their spinoffs is archived at EXA_PICO Universe Wiki (artonelico.fandom.com/wiki/The_EXA_PICO_Universe_Wiki). I highly suggest playing/reading/watching the first 2 prequels. Without them i would have thought of Ar Tonelico only as just another good RPG.
