I came back to play FM after seeing they added nascar, it’s a lot of fun. People on a racing wheel do have the advantage on oval tracks though due to smoother steering input

Is say, go for it. If you can afford it and your system can handle it, it seems pretty good. And if you get bored you could just leave it in your steam library for a bit until you decide to revisit it.

I got brake checked so hard twice during a gt2 or gt3 race a few months ago and went from S to C safety rating. So NASCAR update is going to dump a bunch of guys to lower safety ratings I feel like

i dont think it was a brake check, the ovals have this thing where if you scrape the wall for a certain amount of time it just hits you with a massive slow down, like its so obviously a crazier slowdown than scraping should give you

100% not a break check. If you scrape the barrier just a little you get a massive slowdown on Eagle rock

I only play Daytona on the nascar series cause of how people drive in this game, and even then I either win, get a top 3 due to a stupid penalty for passing someone who wrecked and slightly taped me so it counted that “I hit him” or getting forced below the yellow and the guy next to me slows down when I do so I get a time penalty, or your in the lead and a lapsed car who isn’t ghosted wrecks you cause how dare anyone pass and you end up 3rd cause of that asshole
