They need to add houses, for me this is non-negotiable. The fundamentals to TDU were Dealerships and customisable houses with their own garages. If they don’t add them then the devs have failed to capture what TDU is about.

I read an article and they said it won't come straight away. But I'm happy with the car list. But I wanted the S3 back from TDU:2 as it was my favourite. I hated the golf as well. Also the game will have major updates throughout its life-cycle. But the fundamentals are not there Yet.

great vid as always! i find it amazing how in comments and such people are actually saying good things about this game, and were so critical to Forza Motorsport when it came out, i gave this a shot and honestly feels old, like if it came out 10 years ago it would be a good game. but not today. and the driving is just a lil better than unbound.

@@Truenkyy Nfs Mobile and Racing Master have much better vehicle models. Especially Racing Master....that has comparable and even better world visuals, but is a track based game, but still. Absolutely embarrassing....the CLK model and GTR model look right out of a 2009 game. Hot Pursuit models look better than this sometimes, just with more jaggs due to less polygons. NFS The Run models look 100% better even with the visible polygon edges. And yeah, it's a game that's unstable with a desktop 4090 even at 1080p. What do you expect a 3070ti to do?? Lord help laptop users. Devs have a lot to do in the 3 months leading up to launch, and hopefully they can accomplish something.

The performance issues for a game that looks like this is so hilarious 😂. The legit have models that look worse than what Forza devs have done when they recycle old stuff. Some look like they should even be drivable models, just traffic at most

For real. And yes, the models look like trash exteriorly. Like AR12 pointer out, the Raptor’s model is so tiny vs. what it should be. They have a lot to fix before this game is properly released in order for me to buy it. I can’t even get into ONE race without it crashing during the loading of the race.

Did you notice this too? In Hong Kong, where they drive on the left, cars have left-hand steering instead of right-hand. This is the biggest mistake by the developers. 🚗😮

Its a demo. So 101% this is not the up to date version and probably doesn't include things thats gonna be there at launch but i love the demo so much that i pre-ordered the game. It feels so nice to play something that aint festival driven and all that

Upgrading every part is nice but the TDU way was to buy a base car and have 3 stages at a special tuner maybe even special editions of your car to convert to ( RTR, Roush parts for the Mustang). Rims paint/ vinyls and stance mods are a nice edition. But just like in real life if your car is too slow the best action should be to buy a faster base car instead of upgrading every part in small steps...

I think the biggest comparison is going to be *CarX Street* vs *TDU Solar Crown* I love Forza Horizon but the physics in that game is in a class of its own😅

graphics def matter in racing games more than any other games tbh, its handling and graphics are the top 2 things that matter in racing games

@@literallybuckling forzas fine without both good audio and map design, nfs works with bad vehicle variety, so numbers say otherwise. people have been on this trend of hating good graphics recently its dumb and cope, good graphics in racing games are needed unless its stylized that doesnt mean lacking in handling is acceptable. tdu looks bland just as the crew does they almost seem similar except tdu looks dated (assuming its not completed) theres a reason forza is as popular as it is and a reason we have our issues with them cause we know they can do better. notice how no one ever cries about map design for racing games? because no one seems to care aslong as the other elements work otherwise every racing game since forza horizon 3s release people would be complaining about how shit the maps are

Ill definitely be buying this when it comes out. It seems like what I have been wanting Forza to be, a celebration of cars. Some of the models don't look incredible in the demo, but the sound design and details are what I'm really looking forward to. Can't wait to activate turn signals in cars I'll never own.

11:25 Would be better if you could rent cars like in the first TDU. I dont want to own a 20 year old SLK. I hope the finished version doesnt let you fast travel that early ( only fast travel to point youve been before). Of course the graphics look way better on Ultra but theres no optimization going on in this demo so even mid settings look crap.

After playing the steam demo version, I summarized few serious problems, I hope you can report/tell the Test Drive Unlimited Official to fix/improve these issues before publishing the game because it is a memorable game for all of us, we all hope to have playful and enjoyable game experiences for tdusc 1. I use gtx1650 to play mid graphic quality, the graphic performance is very poor but I still experience frequently game crashes, I don’t know why 2. The frame is very low even at lowest graphic quality , the game is seem like stuck and un-fluent. 3. There is no option for buying property, club, casino, and clothing stores which I am very disappointed because these are my favorite features from tdu2. 3. The racing experience is weird, like there are some small materials in front of the vehicle then it would automatically spin and lose control.

maybe its just my AMD graphics card (6750 xt - 3070 equivalent) but i cant even play this game at all low settings at 60 fps 1440p. FH5 runs at almost 80 with high/med settings. I had so much hope for this game and i understand its only a demo but it seems so poorly optimised, laggy as hell and looks crap even at ultra settings (which i was getting 13 fps at btw). idk what version of the game Nick got but it cannot be the same as mine. Not to mention i tried used my direct drive wheelbase and not only was there a FOUR second delay between me pressing the accelerator and the car actually moving, the DD FFB almost vibrated my rig to pieces with how much it was oscillating. I was soooo hyped for this game for over a year and so far its been a massive let down.
