The bolts, blish lock, and lower are big$ items. Semi guys love to swap a semi Lower for a FA cut for detachable stock and very few other mods need done. I hope a bunch are sold intact to dealers as post samples and if the NFA cracks or has amnesty we can get 100's on books I've been unsubsricribed several times and my feed changed to "personalized" i.e. 1 out of 20 numerous times on this and other channels. Not just firearms, Max Miller on tasting History and Townsends have also be victims of tube of U cancelation or "personalization" equivalent.

The "Once a machine gun, always a machine gun" only applies to gun receivers that are not cut, they cannot be imported or kept in the US if not already on the registry. they cant be brought in and converted to semi auto. When cut it's destroyed and no longer a receiver. If rewelded and a semi auto blocker installed with the internals milled and modified to semi auto only they are a new gun and no longer constitute a machine gun. If you do this you can make a tommy gun a carbine or a form 1 SBR. Tommy guns used to be the big ticket along with MG42's to do this, now the VZ61 and PM63 kits are cheap and somewhat easy to reweld and convert to semi auto and SBR them. Also the ATF will consider guns like the tommy gun, the Bren, the VZ61 and the UZI machine guns after your build if your selector can switch to the "Automatic" selection with your selector. A blocker has to be installed to prevent it from switching it over even though it doesn't do anything. Years ago an UZI was submitted for approval where safe and semi worked, and when swung into auto, it was still on safety. It was disapproved.

@@TheSundayShooter There are literally multiple build sites and forums on how to build your parts kit into a legal semi auto using the original receiver. There are probably hundreds of tutorials on how to build MG42's semi auto using the original receiver, Thompsons, VZ61's are what a lot of beginners are rewelding now into semi auto. As long as it's closed bolt, has a FA blocker, the FA switch is blocked and cannot be made to function in any way full auto, they can be legally built. It's not interpretation if the build follows the ATF guidlines including the R922 compliance. I mean they can "re-interpret" anything at any time as we have seen in the past, they do whatever they want. But rewelding original receivers SA so far is legal.
