7:58 just a heads up on the solenoid. It is stainless, however the internals are steel and will rust immediately if it has any bleach go through it. I know you said soap but just wanted to let you know. They’re finicky too. I went through two before I realized “oh wait, stainless body, steel internals because it’s a magnetic solenoid.” Haha

Maybe you could use a 3/4" pvc board from home depot or lowes. Might hold up better to the weather and the chems then the plywood. I'm sure you'll get it figured out good luck 👍

There is no reason particularly. I read somewhere that the solenoid valve is actually a little smaller than the ball valves in the same size. Thanks

Kinda off topic but do you notice if you order a small part from US Plastics, like a .50 cent fitting they charge nearly $20 to ship it? Have you had better luck with them when you only need a tiny fitting???

When I used a wire calculator installing my 12v electric reel (36 amps it says), it said 4awg. Any issues with the 8? I guess you wouldn't have anything to compare it to but you'd know if it was getting hot or dropping out from low voltage I reckon.

Are you running 300’ 1/2” AG hose for the AR? I’ve heard 5/8” is supposedly better, what’s your opinion on this? If so is that 1/2” flowing fine? I wasn’t sure how much of a difference 1/8” on the hose would really make honestly.
@allproexteriorservicesllc53382 жыл бұрын
I am running 300' of 1/2" ag hose. I have never ran the 5/8" hose & don't plan on it. I am very satisfied with the flow from the 1/2" hose and heard the 5/8" hose is a bit heavy. Plus, most reels have a 1/2" manifold so there is a bottle neck. Hope this helps! Thanks
