Hi! Thanks for the videos, they are very helpfull. I started playing Hpala this exp and finding it rather difficult. I have 611ilvl and kind of stuck at around 1600m+ rating. But Im trying to improve and your vids help with that. Just out of curiosity, the click-casting, how important would that be? I have never used it so it would take me some time to get used to but is it really that much better? Thanks!

Welcome to the Light! It can be a bit tricky to adjust to, especially if you're coming from a long range caster. Improvement takes time and is built off of failures, so as long as you keep playing and try to learn (like you're doing now by studying others) you'll get better! I think that while clickcasting/mouseover macros are an excellent habit, they are by no means required to do well. However, learning to use them will absolutely make your life easier in the long run. Previous to TWW, I used mouseovers for about half my casts, and manually targeted allies for the other half. Now I'm much closer to (but not at) 100% mouseover/click. The most notable difference for me is that I lose track of my targets less often, which can be pretty important if I'm looking to stop a cast! Took me a bit of time to get used to as well, but worth it I think!

Awesome, glad to hear my gameplay is helping you! I think this build is definitely a safer default pick, and you should only go LotM if you know you're going to need that extra bit of spot healing at the cost of personal survivability. Shorter LoH CD is super great though, it's such a clutch ability!

The ones on my bar for Freedom/Sac are old but I keep forgetting to remove them. CS: #showtooltip Crusader Strike /startattack /cast [@target, harm, exists] [@targettarget, harm, exists] Crusader Strike Judgment: #showtooltip Judgment /startattack /cast [@target, harm, exists] [@targettarget, harm, exists] Judgment HoW: #showtooltip Hammer of Wrath /startattack /cast [@target, harm, exists] [@targettarget, harm, exists] Hammer of Wrath BoP (I also have this bound to click-casting, but this is a back-up): #showtooltip Blessing of Protection /stopcasting /cast [@target, help, nodead] Blessing of Protection Cancel Immune (more important for prot, but I have it just in case): #showtooltip Divine Shield /cancelaura Divine Shield /cancelaura Blessing of Protection And finally some simple focus kick/stun and aura macros. Nothing fancy here: /focus #showtooltip /cast [@focus] Rebuke etc for anything else you want to setup as a focus (stun/rep). If you're feeling spicy, try this as your focus macro: /focus [@mouseover,exists,nodead] [exists] /run if GetRaidTargetIndex("focus") == nil then SetRaidTarget("focus", 2) end change the "2" to 1-8 for a different raid marker option. I use this to help track my kicks occasionally. 2 is Circle, so if you ever see me focusing a Circle marker target, I probably used this. Hope all those help!

Do you make small changes with your talents and skills for every mythic dungeon? Or is it possible to just stick to one? Im new to hpala and been watching your vids has been super helpful.

Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you look at things) I run the same class tree talents pretty much every key. The only real change I make is Improved Cleanse or 2p in Fist of Justice. Situationally, you could also go Turn Evil for NW. The value of the other talents are often very low (bad tuning: Lightforged Blessing / incredibly niche: Improved BoP) The spec tree is a bit different. At the moment, I don't charge my build because of the dungeon, but I do believe there are several viable talents that all have their place / fit different playstyles. I'd recommend experimenting with those to find out what you like the most (I've been doing that recently too!) The short answer is: Yeah, can have a catch-all setup to run in every dungeon that will sacrifice only a very (very!) small amount of power. Hope that helps. Yooo ty :) The square marked person is our tank, but what I did was use the new ping system to ping the spider mob. Part of the ping is covered by my nameplates though so it looks square-ish. Is that what you were talking about? Definitely gunna keep going still got IO to get!

@@nafador Haha, yeah pings will take some getting used to but wow they are super OP if your whole group is using them correctly!

​@@nafador I haven't really talked about keybinds. Honestly, they're super personalized to each player. I use an MMO mouse, so my binds will look a lot different vs someone who doesn't. For instance, Cleanse is bounded to "10" on the mouse, which is "0" on the keyboard. Good luck pressing that! The most important thing is coming up with a system that works for you. Rotational binds are comfortable to press, off GCD spells can be pressed without messing up your movement, whatever else you can think of. I have my rotational heals on 1-7, offensive abilities on shift 1-7, and everything else is mapped pretty haphazardly around my keyboard or mouse :) Control+Alt+Shift+Spacebar = Hearthstone, big tech!

Later in the season I'll switch to rank3 for push keys definitely.

Thank you! It's in the Cell addon menu (my party frame addon). You go to Indicators > Debuffs, and you can select a size in there!

Thoughts on healing and mythic tuning so far? I see half saying healing is too much work now and other half is enjoying the challenge. Same with mythics being overtuned, etc.

I'm definitely in camp "Enjoying the Challenge", so I've been having a lot of fun for the most part! There are a lot of challenging bosses and packs that you can really show off your skill / plan out your CDs perfectly. My biggest concern is the absolute chasm between 11s and 12s. I've attempted a couple 12s so far and the difference is actually absurd. Boss fights in the same dungeon with the same group go from 2:30 - 3:00 to 4:30+ in the span of 1 key level. I know this is mostly intentional by Blizz to define when "high keys" start officially, but maaaaan no one wants to fight a dungeon boss for more than 4 minutes whether its a +2 or +200 lol. That's what raiding is for!

Yup! Xal'atath's Bargain (the kiss/curse affix - orbs we soak this week) is replaced with Xal'atath's Guile, which is a flat additional 20% increase to everything's damage and hp. And since the benefit of the kiss/curse is gone, you're also losing dps there.
