Not quite. They have slightly different equipment. And the UK inspiration would have been better.

This looks like a cheap rip-off of the NBC American Gladiators!

It was the official first (and only) season in the Arab world. Fully licensed from MGM - the set is very close to the first season of the revived US Gladiators in 2008. Its interesting that version is very close to the US, whereas the UK & Australian, Swedish and Finnish versions are quite different.
