Greeks, Italians, Lebanese, Albanians, middle easterners are called WOGs in Australia ( Western Oriental Gentlemen) it used to be considered an insult but those groups took ownership of the word in the 1970's and is now considered non derisive slang.

In my area in Melbourne there are many Lebanese Arabs -- Muslim and Christian. I love their lamb pizza!

We have quite a few area's here in Florida of Arab communities and a lot of halal restaurants. Almost every state has a Chinatown, little Italy, Russian, Muslim, Latin pretty much area's of every culture

Sydney is known as a city of villages, that is - different suburbs with different cultural back grounds. Some suburbs are very Chinese, some very Arab, some very Samoan or Tongan, some Kiwi, some Korean, some Vietnamese, some South African, some Italian, some Greek, some Sudanese, some Indian etc etc. Usually it will be because someone will build something there, like a religious building, church or mosque or temple that people of that nationality will go to, so they move close to that area. 30% of Australians were born overseas and 48% have at least one parent born overseas. Soft Drink to us Aussies = carbonated non-alcoholic drinks, like Coke, Sprite, Pepsi, Fanta etc. Other non alcoholic drinks like juice, water, milk, coffee, tea are not called soft drink.

Also another thing with some certain nationalities, when they receive a visa after being held in an Australian detention centre seeking refugee status, they are sent to certain areas based on their nationality, so technically where a lot of these people live is actually not up to them it's up to the government. Eventually they can move suburb but I think it's a 2 year minimum they have to do at the first suburb

This crazy man devours food and fast food restaurants, it's definitely his passion! 😄 Afghan cameliers came to Australia in 1860, Arabs are part of our history and our cities! We have good relationships with most of the world, and are very inclusive! Chili spoils the flavour of fresh food! Sydney is massive, many families stay in their familiar areas! Brothers! Soccer/Football is very popular in South West Sydney too! He is disappointed! Who's the actual winner? My favourite of his is his visit to Adelaide Central Markets! 😂

spanian does some great food blogs! very different to normal reviews because he tells you if he thinks something is awful. you might like his recent series in melbourne! Also, he is spanish background (but born in aus), but hes also muslim so he's pretty well known in the arabic communities in australia (and all communities really).

South Western Sydney Suburbs are mostly an immigrant Arab population most Arabs live in that area , you don't see many Australians i mean generational Australians there.
