Why hasn't this been released commercially.? Popp was a lovely artist and her early death was truly tragic. Weil;kl a superb Mandryka and to have Sawallsch conducting! A treasure trove.

I’ve always wondered - was the voice big enough? In Germany the role is often cast with a spinto/dramatic soprano though of course it’s done by full lyrics too.
