Went to this show way back in 1988/89. Really enjoyed the show and it’s sad to think it’s all gone without a trace now

I remember going there every summer as a field trip with my summer camp...Wish it was still there...

I distinctly remember coming here the first time I went to Orlando. Given how much my family and I liked Aladdin, that was the first thing that came to mind when we saw this, complete with my Dad mistaking the princess (at the start of the show) for Aladdin. And it was all hammered home when the hero was dubbed Street Rat towards the end. It might’ve been a different performance than what followed years later though.

Took my goddaughters there while on their first Disney vacation May 2013 and it was one of the highlights of their trip. Sorry to see it go., Was a small beacon of clean fun family entertainment.

I live in Florida and every time I go to Kissimmee I see it and looks so dead now and makes me sad because it was one of the best entertainment's and non Floridians will never understand that

So its like medieval times ??

Based on observation, this is more like a circus performance at Arabian Nights. Medieval Times is all about combat. There's horse performances but it doesn't rely on horses like Arabian Nights.

I'm afraid these dinner & show businesses are on their way out just like the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey circus. Medieval Times is another that is currently struggling but still afloat. Having one in Orlando just makes no sense on top of that with so many entertainment options. Never mind at $70 a head and walking out paying a $300+ tab for a family of four with teens is hard to accept for many. Never mind the food was at best bar or Folk's restaurant like quality (blech). Orlando theme parks get repeat visitors. Dinner & shows, not so much. Especially at their price level. One and done. But it's more than that. It's the changing interests in current generations of kids. Being raised with tablets and smart phones causes today's youth to not care about external stimuli like generations past who who grew up playing outdoors and using their imagination. It's possible Medieval Times can survive in areas where there is not a lot of entertainment competition, but I just don't see it happening long term. They are going the way of drive in movie theaters. If I owned one, I'd be selling and getting out asap.
