OMG!! I have been looking for a video of Chief Bear Paw forever, and now I've found it. Thank you for sharing it. Damn I love Chief Bear Paw. And I've thought he was a gelding. Well I guess I was wrong. Man, He is so gorgeous. He deserves a breyer after him. And I've get to meet him in person.

4:47 haha this reminds me of a horse on my boardingschool x3 he always took the blankets of the other horses when they were out (don't ask how he did it). But someday he stood there with a blanket ass always and waved it around like "haha see what I got!". I was getting a littlebit tired of it and said "you give it to me, NOW!" quite firmly. And he just went "okay okay sheesh" and he actually handed me the blanket xD I'm never gonna forget that x3

Once went to a riding party where everyone except me was drinking "gombay smashes" ...and riding. In the dark. In an open meadow. Luckily, the horses were sober and could see just fine. One gal rode bareback up to the bar, had a slug and flopped backwards on her horse, out like a light. Some other drinkers surrounded the horse and shoved at him, trying to roll her off, but this was a big Appy, who knew exactly what state his rider was in, being a decent animal, absolutely refused to budge!

Thank you horses for never letting your ear infection hinder your spirit to run. It has been an honor infecting your ears, now that I know your knees did not get too numb as to hinder their recovery with Aleve. Sometimes on a really bad day, I have to take two Alleve. I have to just rest my neck for ten minutes, and try to imagine weed from the future. I look forward to seeing you preform in future circuses or parades or whatever futuristic horses have prepared for us.

I would like to see you try that,maybe its boring to you,but it takes YEARS to get a horse that well trained and such a bond and trust. Yeah it was posted in 2011 but seriously there are video's from 2007. You need to learn some manners.

I know someone who drank a beer and then rode. I was like why the heck are you doing that and then after she trotted around the around a few times she stop grab her beer and took another swig of it! So at that point I just left.

I know horses aren't supposed to lay down.. but is it for long periods of time or just a few minutes that can harm them?
@mollymarkley61068 жыл бұрын
Horses will actually lay down for pretty extended periods of time on their own accord. That is how they enter deep sleep, rather than just resting if they were standing. Our horses will actually lay in the pasture and sunbath for quite a while (sometimes up to half an hour.) If the horse isnt sick, injured, or colicing, laying down is fine. Give the horse some credit. They will tell you when they have had enough and they wont do anything they dont want to. This horse enjoys their job and loves working with the rider.

Why is that horse shod> If you love him take those damned shoes off. They are what causes 99% of lameness in horses and are totally useless.
@stephaniepetra505411 жыл бұрын
I'm not exactly sure where you are getting your numbers from but you are incorrect and shoes or lameness were not even subjects of this video. Please go troll someone else.
@robinlocksly899411 жыл бұрын
You're a special kind of stupid aren't you?
@Deadlynightshade911 жыл бұрын
Actually shoes help horses not get lameness if they do a lot of work on a hard surface. They've got to be kept in good condition though, otherwise they will cause harm. I feel like you need to do some more research on keeping horses....
@andrewcrow578710 жыл бұрын
Umm, where did you get that info from? A lot of horses need shoes because of lameness for various reasons. Horses who are always ridden in rocky terrain should have shoes on to prevent soreness and stone bruises. Thoroughbreds NEED shoes because they have soft feet and get sore easily. Mustangs on the other hand rarely need shoes because they are hardy animals and have very hard feet.
@PadLock7010 жыл бұрын
I'm pretty sure you're wrong, if shoes caused lameness, why do they wear them. Shoes HELP with lameness
@silverfoxraven9413 жыл бұрын
wow, this is lame, cool horse though. And this was posted 2011? Hate to tell you lady, but not everyone prays in this day and age.
