This was enjoyable and i liked how you explained why diff letters and words are used. Also liked how you created your own sentences. I will try that too. I've always been taught athaab is punishment - is that only when it's own when there is no other word with a similar meaning in the sentence or would it always be translated as torment?

thank u for your kind feedback The word عذاب literally means to remove the sweetness of something. that's y in English it should be translated as torture or anything like that. Punishment is more as a consequence of disobedience A better word for punishment is عقاب or نكال
