Just one tip I would give as an English speaker is that sometimes when you say “this means...” you say for example “ the word ‘door’ means ‘باب’” when an English speaker would say “ the word ‘باب’ means ‘door’ ’” I really appreciate your videos and think this would help improve them. Great Video! I am really bad at grammar. Even in my mother tongue I fail to grasp the grammar completely. However I am able to catch a language quite well by hearing conversations. I mean like how children learn to speak. They dont learn grammar, they learn by listening.

FAHIMA. 12 different meanings for a single verb, Hurra!! it just remind me when I learnt Ancien Greek or Latin in my school, and you realized that the difference with the ancien classical languages with the modern languages is that when you find a word in a dictionary in Latin or Classical Arabic, you don't find one or two translations to your mother language, but almost 10 or 20. By the other hand the most hilarious thing is that in fact this word isn't used anywhere, because in every Arabic country they will pronounce it differently in the "so called dialects" that in fact are different independent "Arabic languages" just like Spanish, Portuguese, French or Italian are different "Latin languages" even if you can consider them as "Latin's dialects". For example in Morocco you say "Fehem" instead of "fahima", just like in Spanish you say "amigo" instead of "amicus" in Latin.

@ 3min48 seconds into the video. your spelling is off it should have been a sakoon one of the fah. This is a good audio lesson but it messes with the visual when trying to learn... Especially for those who know how to read but do not read particularly well. But overall great first video . looking forward to more.

najibah Lassiter I’m sure it was accidental. And mistakes happen because only Allah is perfect. Even though there was a fatha she read it perfectly and I’m sure it’s a lot of work making these videos. So when we see mistakes we should make excuses and perhaps say “ Hey everyone there was a fatha but it should be sukoon , happy learning🤗.” May Allah make this content beneficial for us all and thanks for pointing it out for us.😘
