A great video but I have a question since I recite in the riwayah of Warsh 'an Nafi', and the most of the massahif in this riwayah don't come with the same symbols of waqf as the massahif of the riwayah of Hafs, the only symbol we have is the symbol of small ص referring to the word صه meaning stop, so if you help me with this I will be grateful, may Allah love you and give you the Firdaws Ala'la.
@Arabic101 Жыл бұрын
The letter ص actually refers to the word رخصة not صهٍ .. It refers to a spot to take a breath and then keep going without having to repeat anything. It is however not the best option to stop there if you are able to keep on going. I explained these symbols in this lesson: kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZmPZh3hrqrKkp9k

I’m confused, can you stop at the L when it is end of ayah or do you have to continue reading to the next ayah?
@pinkglitz6622 Жыл бұрын
If you mean lam then you have to continue reading until you reach a stop sign with no lam (e.g what u said as in the next ayah if there’s a stop sign; etc)
@DarkKnightDad Жыл бұрын
If an ayah ends with a La symbol then you can pause on it and then start from the next ayah. However, you can't stop completely. Meaning, you can't end your recitation session stopping at an ayah with La symbol
@tanny01 Жыл бұрын

Salamalaîkum! To stop is always a great problem for me. But in the hajj-mushaf there is no la-sign at the end of an aya or otherwise. And secondly, even with repeating words when stopping in the middle of an aya, I don’t feel happy, because I don’t u derstand arabic and so I don’t know if I repeated what makes sense. 🤔
@abdullahmohammed366 Жыл бұрын
May Allah make it easy for you and all of us.
@sariksadman1829 ай бұрын
do I have to repeat the words if the pause is very small? and what if I mispronounce a word, can I correct it and continue immediately without repeating? and if i face difficulty pronouncing all words so i read slowly and take breath between words, would it be wrong?
@afraazsiddiqui3765 Жыл бұрын
Assalaamu Alaikum. Is it allowed to stop and continue without repeating in between different ideas in a single sentence? For example: Inna fee khalqis samaawaati wal ardi... bi maa yanfa'un naas (then stop) wa maa anzal Allahu min assamaai mim maa'aa... So the stop is at the idea of the ships on the ocean for benefit of mankind, and before the idea of the rain Allah has sent down. Is this allowed?
@asmaiftkhar1283 Жыл бұрын
One thing more You mentioned in a video that in an emergency stop we can't resume from a word that has a ksarah on last letter i.e غیرِ in Surat al fatiha But you didn't explain the same here My question is, are there some other conditions similar to this from where we can't resume in case of emergency stop If yes please do let us know We will be greatful May Allah bless you

That is probably because it is an Arabic Mushaf .. which is 'mostly' used by Arabs, who understand Arabic and can naturally avoid such mistakes. These symbols will more present in Urdu & Turkish Mushafs.
