You can elongate the end of each line because it's considered mad 'arid lil sukun. Except for Allahu Akbar (you can't say Allahu Akbaaaaaar) all other lines in azan can be elongated to 6 harakat. So like Ashhadoo an la ilaha illa Allaaaaaaah, or Hayya ala as-Solaaaaaaah or Hayya 'ala al-Falaaaaaaah. Exaggerating in singing or elongating the vowels in azan is makrooh if it doesn't change the meaning according to Syeikh ibn Uthaymeen in Sharh al-Mumti.

That might be the iqaamah, the call right before prayer. They would also add “قد قامت الصلاة" Qad Qaamati ssalaatu twice.

You shouldn't fear, but you should learn the right pronounciation. Learn the right pronounciation of all the letters and vowels (short and long) under a proper shaykh - if you can't then use Arabic 101's videos to do so.

Sir respectfully I have to say that (حی علی خیر العمل) is the part of Adan and we have many historical documents that approve this statement. The singing part of your video doesn't make sense honestly. You are expecting Adhan ( a CALL) to be recited like a recitation? So that no one even gets to hear it? Defies the Purpose of a call to prayer.

I've a question Their is a person giving adhan And when he say أشهد أن محمدا رسول الله he stops in between He says أشهد أن محمدا رسول and partially stops or we can say fully caause he take breath and then says Lul-lah.. is he saying correct. First you tell azan word in the Quran. Second Allah Akbar where Also came in Quran for comparison. So present Azan is gair qurani out of Quran. Azan is information for salah. Allah Akbar show word in single than there is small or deputy Allah. It is hundred percent logically wrong according to Quran. Because Allah tells in Quran as innallaha aliyan kabira. Baishaq Allah khud hai buland bada buzurg bada. You study azan or information for salah according to Quran translation word .You translate in Arabic or copy from Quran. Note --I am unable to copy to azan at this time.

Why isn't it okay to make wrong pronunciations for non Arabs? Doesn't Allah know all languages and dialects and knows what's in our hearts? Yeah, it's better to learn the right pronunciations, but please understand that Allah didn't bestow Islam on us to turn the whole world into Arabs. Islam unites us, not Arabic. We should focus more on our faith and deeds than telling non Arabic speakers the possible meanings of their pronunciations to other humans. Allah sees what's in our hearts and will forgive unintentional wrong meanings. You can promote the right pronunciation because it's right and not because the fear of different meanings. And Allah knows best.

You can extend if you read it all evenly and for example you can change 1 count to 6 and the rest of it is x6 😐

@9:40-10:50This is absolutely not true! The mandatory harakat to say "Allah" is "2 harakat" due to "aliff madd" letter or "natural madd" in there. But at the same time, why there is another "option" of "harakats" which is "2/4/5/6" or "madd far'ie"? So, can you imagine how many the word "Allah" in al Qur'an that's you must in mandatory mastered it to know which is "2" or "2/4/5/6" harakat(s). If you said so..pls.specify your "reference(s) that's the word "Allah" has a multiple harakat(s) in "athan" reciting. If this do the same to all ayat(s) in al Qur'an which is there is a word "Allah"?..pls.specify your "nas"/"dalil"/"reference(s)".

I am still puzzled why the Call to Prayer is called ADHAN and the caller, Muaddhin or Muazzin. Please correct me if I am wrong...but the Holy Quran is very clear on this matter and call it: Nada and the caller: Munadi. I may be quite new on this point but I deeply feel the need to ask as I understand that Allah precisely lodged these words in perfection to fit the ayat context. Nowhere did Allah put ADHAN and Muaddhin with Salat. At one instance, Allah lodged these two words, in His Supreme Wisdom, in Surat Yussuf, in a very different event--not salat-- but calling the alleged thieves of the King's golden cup, as per Yussuf's playful wisdom. Again...as the Holy Quran is concerned for the guidance of mankind, Allah never used ADHAN and Muaddhin for Call to Prayer and for the Caller. But Allah, for some very special reason, He only used Nada and Munnadi with Salat announcement. Please clarify me on this matter as all believers of Allah are but students in this earthly probation. Thank you. Salam. And may the grace of Allah be with us all.

You can't just say Allahu Akbar twice or four times. There are three types of Athan, two have Allahu Akbar 4 times at the beginning and only 1 has Allahu Akbar twice at the beginning which is the Maliki/Madani Athan which also has tarjee' (saying the shahadatain in a lower voice, then repeating them in a louder voice). It is incorrect to say Allahu Akbar twice at the beginning without tarjee' as this is not reported from the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم .

Only those who know this knows the meaning. I am not from Arabic world So here if we say azaan, aazaan, aaazaan We only know it is call to prayer. We dont know other meaning After all language is for communication means, I want to pass the information from my mind to others. If others sinc or getting what I mean then what is the issue. Dear brother, May Allah reward for you for trying to correct the common mistakes of azan. But i totally disagree with you regarding singing of azan, as you do not know what is considered singing and what is accepted in azan, and as your channel is viewed be different people, you shouldn't be strick and claiming you are the only doing azan in correct way. You should know that there are different of opinion regarding if tjaweed rules should be applied on anything else then Quran, and if you do not then you will force the ulamas to talk against you. 12:26 you are saying that we can put Fatha, Dhamma and Sukoon when we are linking but in reality we see that أكبرُ has dhammah and when we link with the next word we link with dhammah so why you have said that we can do with fathah and Sukoon also Please explain!!!!!
