Excellent work .. Ma shaa Allah. When it comes to the pronoun نحن , it can however get a bit confusing because نا- can be used for the meaning of (us/ our) but also could be used with the meaning of the hidden pronoun (we) So فَعَلنا means we did and تَعِدُنا means you promise us ... I was planning to make a lesson about this particular confusion, so in shaa Allah, this will be sorted. Once again, may Allah reward you for your efforts. Keep it up Asslamo alikom

السلام علیکم May Allah bless you and increase in your علم, skills and time. I like this series of grammar and keep visiting your blog daily twice or more to learn something new. Though I am learning Arabic grammar in a online course through Google classroom. But the way you presented your lesson is very easy to follow, remember and help understand Qur'anic Ayah. You gave examples of adjectives for singular masculine and feminine noun but didn't continue that with dual and plural nouns. Looking forward for your reply

Wa alikom asslam, Jazakum Allahu khairan for your support. There are indeed things that are left out because I only focus on the information you will need to understand the Quran. So if there is something that was not mentioned in the Quran or it was just mentioned once or twice, then I will not discuss its rules since it won't be essential to understand the Quran in Arabic. So I try to give the shortest way possible for non-Arabs to understand the Quran. However, I am working on an MSA series, which is just general Arabic, and in this series I discuss all the rules regardless of their relevance to the Quran. Hope this answers the question in shaa Allah Asslamo alikom

Asslamo alikom, Verbs that have hamza in the middle can be quite problematic, which I will explain more about as you progress through the course in shaa Allah. The hamza in the middle should become ئـ so You جئت You (pl) جئتم they (females) جئن If you choose another verb to try again, I'll look at it one more time for you in shaa Allah.

Is it ماضي or ماضٍ
@Arabic101
@Arabic101 2 жыл бұрын
The word ماضي is called in Arabic اسم منقوص It does indeed lose the yaa at the end, and you write it as ماض but only in certain cases: if it is 'majroor' or 'marfoo'. So it requires context for it to receive the proper formation. But for clarity purposes, and absence of context, we use ماضي Asslamo alikom
